I love that I’m not the only one who’s thought about this. Here’s my current recommended order.

Phase 1 - Avengers Assemble

• Iron Man
• Captain America
• Iron Man 2
• Thor
• Avengers
  Notes:
  No Incredible Hulk movie, actor change, film doesn’t add much. New hero introduced every movie. No Brave New World will not be in this viewing order, but I’m stealing the title for something else.

Phase 2 - Avengers Divided

• Thor 2 - The Dark World
• Captain America 2 - The Winter Soldier
• Avengers 2 - Age of Ultron (edit in iron man arc reactor)
• Iron Man 3 (edited, no Jarvis, ptsd of New York and Sakovia)
• Ant-Man
• Captain America 3 - Civil War
  Notes:
  Moved iron man 3 after Avengers 2 to fix the issue of iron man giving up his suits and his arc reactor only to then be iron man again for avengers. This way he is forced to pick it back up once civil war happens.

Phase 3 - Aliens and Insects

• Black Panther
• Spider-Man Homecoming
• Black Widow
• Ant-Man and the Wasp
• Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 1
  Notes:
  Moved guardians later in the watching order to have a team up movie in this new phase of solo movies. Moved Thanos after credit scene from avengers 2 to guardians after credits replacing Howard cameo scene.

Phase 4 - Infinity War

• Doctor Strange
• Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2
• Thor 3 - Ragnarok
• Avengers 3: Infinity War
• Avengers 4: Endgame
  Notes:
  Moved doctor strange later in the viewing order closer to where he becomes relevant

Phase 5 - Taking up the Mantle

• Thor 4 - Love and Thunder (edited)
• Captain America 4: Brave New World (falcon and winter soldier movie edit) I’m using the title of the new captain America for this edit since I think I fits better for a story dealing with the state of the world post snap.
• Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3
• Team Hawkeye (movie edit)
• Wakanda Forever
• Thunderbolts*
  Notes:
  Re-edited falcon and winter soldier into a captain America movie. Makes flag smashers less like terrorists and tones down a lot of the over the top themes. US Agent does not get a redemption.
  Re-edited Hawkeye show into a movie focuses more on the plot.
  Re-edited Thor love and thunder to reduce over the top silliness and focus on the story.
  Thunderbolts is moved to the team up slot for this phase because we have finished setting up all the anti avengers in subsequent movies.

Phase 6 - Multiverse of Madness

• Wanda Vision
• Ms Marvel (movie edit)
• Doctor Strange 2
• Spider-Man No Way Home
• Loki: Sacred Timeline (movie edit)
  Notes: Re-edited ms marvel to focus on the plot. Re-edited Loki into a movie to focus on the plot and remove some of the romance between Loki and his variant. It also removes mentions of evil kang set up. Moved Loki to the team up slot since it has him teaming up with his variants and plunges the multiverse into chaos.

Alternatively you could move no way home to its own phase.
Phase 6b - Spiderverse (Mostly Optional)

• Spider-Man 1
• Spider-Man 2
• Spider-Man 3
• Amazing Spider-Man 1
• Amazing Spider-Man 2
• Spider-Man: No Way Home Required
  Notes:
  With the multiverse introduced we jump right into the spiderverse. Hot-take I love these films but your average marvel movie audience probably won’t feel the need to go through all these just to get the references for one movie.

Phase 7 - Universe of Mutants

• X-Men First Class
• X-Men 1
• X-Men 2
• X-Men 3
• X-Men: Days of Future Past
  Notes:
  With the multiverse introduced we jump into the mutant phase which was set up with ms. marvel. Important to view since they will be appearing in doomsday. Most of these stay the same but we just avoid some of the other fox installments

Phase 8 - Breaking the Fourth Wall

• X-Men Origins: Wolverine
• Deadpool 1
• Logan
• Deadpool 2
• Loki 2: Glorious Purpose (movie edit)
• Deadpool 3
  Notes:
  Re-edited Loki season 2 into a movie to focus on the plot and remove kang villan mentions. Most of these fox movies remain untouched. Moved Deadpool 3 to the team up slot as it is a team up movie and it features fantastic four cameo and the main timeline so we can transition back to the MCU movies.

Phase 9 - A Colossal Threat

• Fantastic Four
• Shang Chi: Legend of the Ten Rings
• Avengers 5: Doomsday
• Spider-Man: Brand New Day
• Avengers 6: Secret Wars

Notes:
I moved Shang chi later on in the order as it has very little to do with the other arcs and phases. However, there is a scene at the end of the film hinting at galactus which would be a great bridge between fantastic four movie and the main timeline before the avengers doomsday film.

I’ve been folllwoing this project off and on for awhile, I think what your doing is great! I just cant keep up with the updates and changes of the files. Is there a master breakdown list that shows your progress so far and what is 100% done?

Some of the outside scenes in the clone hideout episode match the hanger lighting when the Zillo breaks out. Trying to see if theres a way that Clone force 99 calls in reinforcements and they show up to help. It just kills me that when echo joined them for the mission they didn’t think to bring Rex or the other clones. It’s not like his whole reason for fighting is to save clone lives. If theres any way at all to insert some of those scenes into the finale it would be worth it.

It would be a real challenge if you were able to somehow edit the season in a way where Omega rescues crosshair but then Omega gets captured before leaving. Crosshair finds his brothers and together rescue omega. I just don’t like how she escapes and then is captured again and then escapes again. Reminds me too much of the ahsoka pike fillers from season 7.

Would it make sense that when the enforcers go to find the real stuff Lando takes off and Hamon gets redubbed with AI possibly saying something like “their ship is gone, they took it.” Beckett then shoots the guards and takes the fake stuff hoping to pass it off as the real thing and sell it. That could make the encounter at the end make sense since lando double crosses them and takes the real coaxium and they ended up with fakes. But Han swiped one vile for himself just in case.

They would be random bandits. Kind of like a random character appearance that never comes back like Garindan the spy in a new hope.

Hello OT Community I’ve been trying to re-edit solo into something that aligns a bit more with the OT as well as remove some cringe. Here are my thoughts and I would love for this to be an open discussion to see if we can solve some of these story beats together.

Less Backstory
We open with Han jump starting the speeder but cut right to Han and Qira escaping in the speeder. Chase scene plays out the same for the most part. Qira is captured, Han joins the Empire, Han Solo says his name cut to title.

Han Meets Chewy
There encounter is quicker and has no wookie speak. No shower scene.

Heist Scene
Stays the same for the most part.

Meeting with Dryden Vos
Qiras introduction is less cheerful and is interrupted by Beckett.

Recruiting Lando
Cut down on some of Landos cringier dialogue with Han. Removed Enfyst Spy. Reduced L3s Dialogue. Break into shipping yard. See Falcon. Cut to Beckett and Chewie playing holo game. Han & Qira Closet Scene. Beckett warns Han about Qira.

Kessel Heist
Dropping out of hyperspace, L3 and Qira talk about the Malestrom. Landing sequence with plan being dicussed, No dice exchange, Reduce L3 dialogue and removed droid rebellion. No screaming grenade throw. Less dramatic L3 death, L3 does not get plugged into the falcon, escape empire, encounter monster, use the Maw to slingshot them out, Monster and injection lines really slow the pacing (this stuff is going to blow)

Saverine Station
They land safe and unload, Landos not happy, Han talks with Qira about leaving with him and how Crimson Dawn is dangerous to cross, just before shes about to say hes the good guy, Beckett interrupts them saying they can wait for the refinement up the hill.

NO ENFYST rebellion
I find that it doesn’t add much to the film, we already know the “CRIME SYNDICATE” is bad. We see Dryden straight up kill a dude that didn’t fulfill his end of the bargain. We don’t need the movie to show us more reasons why they are bad and why these people chose to rebel, leave that to the empire.
If i kept this in all it does is turn Han into his ROTJ self where he has already decided to help a cause greater than himself. Without Enfyst, he crosses Dryden to help free Qira and we see how that turns out.

The Double Cross
Cut to the ocean and chewie and beckett waiting around, Han tells them they can’t give it to them, Beckett says not to cross Dryden, Han asks for Becketts help to pull it off, Beckett leaves (finding a great opportunity to slip out of this situation and fake his death during the job), The rest of the crew goes along with the plan, Qira tells him its not a good idea, Han says she’s wrong and that they will win, Qira says its just about surviving, They talk with Dryden, They get found out, Beckett is revealed to have given them up, Enforcers go to the refinery to get the “real coaxium”, Qira and Dryden talk about loyalty, Enforcers realize that its empty, Leaving Dryden exposed.

What Happened to Lando?
I’m having trouble inserting the scene where Lando takes off. Ideally it would happen about here where the enforcers are coming to the refinery and Lando takes off. Trying to think of any other ways it would fit. I tried after Han and Lando talk where he’s so upset that he leaves but, it’s not like he would leave before getting paid? Any suggestions would be awesome.

Final Confrontation
Beckett takes out the guards and takes chewy, Han and Dryden face off. Qira kills Dryden, Tells Han to go save chewy. No kiss, no talk of money for their ship, no cringy smile line, just a longing glance as the door closes, Qira talks with Maul. Hot take but I prefer him using his lightsaber as he is threatening Qira if she should fail like Dryden did. Han shoots Beckett, Qira flys away, Han gets big sad with chewy.

Lando Rematch
Now, since Enfyst and her rebellion are not in this i need a work around for the fact that they have all the coaxium now and not just the vile. Somehow make the interaction with Han and Lando work with the new story because i really like there conversation of leaving them stranded and Han notices the card and swipes it before the play another round. It’s the ending where I’m struggling to get these last peices to all fit around the fact that Enfyst is not there.

Qira and Han Romance
I try to dial back as much kissing and romance with them as I can mostly because I can’t stand him loving anyone but Leia but there is infatuation there you can tell he really cares about her.

Thats mostly what I’ve done so far. I’d love to get some discussion going on this topic mostly because I thought the idea of a solo movie without Enfyst in the finale sounded more compelling and nothing against the actress herself, I just didn’t find a teenager intimidating. But I would really appreciate any feedback or ideas of any kind even if you disagree, who know maybe you’ll change my mind.

Great Edit, here are some quick things I would recommend:

Armorer states beskar is made for armor not weapons, Din states the dark saber is made of a beskar? I would omit the line of what it is made of, especially if later on you still plan to include moff crushing it.

Armorer asks Din about helmet there seems to be 2 different types of color grading happening with the back and forth.

Din asks what happen to the droid port even though he helped make the thing from scratch, seems odd.

There seems to be a fair bit of back and forth with different color grading, very saturated vs not so saturated.

But overall a great time

When it comes to the shuttle they use to get to endor. THE BAD BATCH season 3 trailer shows a lambda shuttle with a cargo box underneath which might work better than the rogue one cargo shuttle which reminds me of kylos shuttle.

This project is a combination of ideas and feedback from the community, changes from other fan editors, and some of my own tweaks for continuity, pacing, and preference. All of which come together to create what i feel to be a series that feels a bit more like star wars and has the added benefit of having 1 hour episodes for those who wish to have more of a casual viewing experience or are trying to get friends introduced to the following shows.

THE MANDALORIAN, THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT, & AHSOKA

I made a trailer a few months back that went by a different title, it was named “The Beskar Edition” but now that the live action shows are building what seems to be an avengers crossover universe. I had to revisit the edits I had made and have come up with a new title for the series.

I have completed the rough cuts for all 15 episodes and put together some artwork for DVD covers but I will need some time finishing the polish, writing the change logs, and uploading the files somewhere accessible to everyone. I would appreciate any insight or experience regarding file converting/zipping to more manageable sizes.

Keep in mind this fan-edit series is a culmination of various ideas and changes that I personally felt needed to be included in what I consider to be canon. I do not take personal credit for some of these changes and will give credit where it is due once change logs are made.

Would love to see an Ahsoka series version!

Love what you’ve done so far. I do have a few ideas that may elevate it.

1.Sabines Stabbing: theres a clip someone made of a slice rather than a stab this is a bit more believe-able and would not add another reason why qui-gon should’ve lived. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jobwstylkI

2.The Forgotten Droid: When the droids are raiding sabines place. She destroys one of them in the process. Instead of ahsoka going back there and catching a droid who stayed behind for some reason we do this:

• sabine says that she got one of them to ahsoka
• ahsoka tells her to get some sleep transition to morgan and assassins activating the map
• once that scene ends cut back to a wide shot of lothal and cut to sabine examining the droid head as ahsoka asks her if shes up for it and let the scene continue as you have structured.

3.Ahsoka Space Combat: I would recommend cutting the space combat sequence entirely and have morgan fire on them when she asks if they are destroyed the droid replys “they are off our scopes”. Her face says it all. We cut to them just entering atmosphere skimming the surface of the planet and cut a segment of hu yang coming back online saying “what did i miss” (cropping the frame to exclude the other two who have changed seats) and cut to the ship landing. No exposition required. He already scanned the ring and we can assume he gave them the run down.

Could you PM a link to the rough cut? I may have some ideas

Its still a work in progress lol the ai voice generator i used wasn’t the best but If anyone wants to use this idea go right ahead i would love for it to be realized in a better executed way than i have it.

I’ve not finished your book 2 as yet so can’t compare but one thing in the BoBF that bothered me was that Boba left Fennec to sort out the person involved with killing his tusken family at the end of the show, then she anticlimactically just leaves through the door. I addressed that with an alternate ending idea which might interest you.
