If Hayden Had Never Played Anakin ...
Time

He would have made a fine Hamlet :P Pretty decent show actually.

He reminds me in some ways of Val Kilmer or even Kevin Costner. He may yet stumble into a part that suits him.

Ideally, the guy who played Anakin Skywalker should not have been Hayden Christensen. He always will be a terrible actor. His vocal tone sounds far too melodramatic and fake for my tastes, that's for sure. Good actors appear to be natural when they act. Hayden Christensen just reminds me of some kid throwing a temper tantrum, or somebody being sarcastic. I cannot feel any real emotion to his acting. His acting is just so wooden and fake.

I would prefer an actor that resembled, at least to a certain extent, a young Sebastian Shaw.

The Secret History of Star Wars
Time

What about all of the earlier Star Wars material that was just drafts and never made it to the big screen?

A cloned Lando Calirissian. That just sounds so ridiculous. Thank God these drafts stayed drafts.

Lando was an awesome character in the originals because of what he did-his character, his motivations, his goals, his deeds, and especially the ending of Episode 6. Including him into the prequels would just be shoehorning him into there.

That is one of the reasons why many star wars fans, myself included, absolutely hated the Star Wars prequels. Massive shoehornings of many characters everywhere. Anakin Skywalker built C3PO, about 33% of all of the stormtroopers were the boba fett clones, not to mention the Anakin-Greddo fight.
