Well, since you didn't read the first post, I'd just wait if I were you.

Actually I did read it and as I stated I signed up for an account with myspleen and my account is not letting me login, so I am not able to request an account with myspleen torrent.  tehparadox is taking for ever to download.

Did you try using the password reset option?  I think I had to do that.

I just got one from Kickass that seemed pretty official. ANH itself has a size of 3.73GB. Does that seem more appropriate. It should also be noted that the torrent I used included ESB and ROTJ, but I already own ESB Despecialized and am waiting on the superior version of ROTJ

The MKV version of ANH should be 17-18GB.

Looks like you didn't hurt it, but what you've got there is a re-encode someone else did, and based on filesize alone, I'd say it's dreadful compared to Harmy's original version.  That said, it's probably still worlds better than the Blu-ray, so that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it.

Maybe this is the wrong thread, but where could I get the proper Harmy edition?

 Got mine from MySpleen.

The only audio sync issue on Star Wars v2.5 is toward the end of the film, and it's a one frame sync problem (~.042 ms), which most people find unnoticeable.

Any other sync issues are much more likely caused by either downloading a low-bitrate re-encode, or issues with the playback software.  I know some players find DTS-MA to be a little exotic.  You can test this by trying one of the Dolby Digital tracks (i.e. the commentary).  If it syncs fine, then it's the playback software that's the problem.  That's my guess.

Ya... I just played back a few scenes in VLC, and I didn't notice any sync issues.  I ran into the issues with two different devices.  One was an Intel NUC running OpenELEC, and the other was a Samsung Smart TV.  I'll have to go through the movie again.  I'm also watching the MKV version with DTS-MA audio, which I grabbed from MySpleen.

Thanks for all of your hard work Harmy.  I watched the current versions of all three movies, and they all played very well.  Everything is exactly as I remember from when I watched it as a child.  I hated how George changed the ending of ROTJ.  It was prolly one of the biggest issues I had with the remastered special editions.

The only issue I noticed with all three of the despecialized versions, were some audio sync issues with STAR WARS v2.5.  The sync issues are pretty noticeable in some scenes, and don't exist in others.  Has anyone else noticed them, or is it just me?
