STAR WARS: the alt.binaries.starwars thread
Time

The complete EditDroid set is going up soon in ISO format. All dvd-rom content is intact, as well as the original JACKET_P folders. All disc images have been burn tested.

Up already: EditDroid Supplemental. This archive contains disc art, nfos, and MD5 files for verifying the disc images.

Next post: EditDroid disc 1. It should be finished sometime tommorow, if all goes well. This is version 2 of EditDroid EP IV (dvd-rom content, selectable crawl).

Enjoy

The "EditDroid" Trilogy DVD Info and Feedback Thread (Released)
Time

The volume labels are not going to be accurate. Life goes on.

I am including the artwork as a supplement, but I am not integrating it into the disc images. I want all the folders to be unmolested and true to the originals.

This supplement has already been posted to usenet.

I'm not positive I have the "official" artwork. I believe that I do. The collection consists of jpegs, tiffs, and pdf files. It includes cover art, disc labels, and inserts. There was a readme.nfo included with the files that refers to the collection as the "original" artwork.

The iso files are complete and due to be posted to usenet. See the alt.binaries.starwars thread for more details.

Thanks again for the help guys. Can someone confirm that ESB lacks any original dvd-rom content ? (I'm not referring to the Starkiller supplement.) What about a JACKET_P folder?

I'm trying to reconstruct the original discs with all folders intact. ESB is the only disc left with nothing but a VIDEO_TS folder.

Also, does anyone recall the proper volume labels for each disc? I want to use the correct names when creating the ISOs.

Info Wanted: How to obtain fan-edits
Time

fanedit.org is dead, apparently due to legal threats from the MPAA.

The best way to get these now is via torrents and usenet I suppose. Now we have a concrete example of why the forum rules here are in place; the copyright police are amoung us...

If anyone knows of a website similar to fanedit.org (i.e., with rapidshare links) that is still up, please PM me.
