When I decided to compare the Blu-Ray with the sample, I discovered an alteration that seems very puzzling. See for yourself:

No, you’re not seeing things, Disney removed Mufasa’s teeth at one point during “Circle of Life”. Does somebody have the Special Edition DVD so we can confirm that these teeth were removed for the 2002 IMAX re-release?

I Knew This Alteration Way Before You Guys Knew It, I’m Glad Finally You Noticed It. 😊

Sailor Moon (Optimum version)

This mean both the DIC and Pioneer versons, right?

If This is DIC And Pioneer, You Are restoring the DIC Dubs for Sailor Moon’s Seasons 1 and 2, restoring The DIC and The Program Exchange Logos, and Cloverway Inc. TV Edits That Aired On Cartoon Network Available on Pioneer VHS Not DVD, and Pioneer Uncut Versions That were Available On VHS and DVD of Seasons 3 and 4, Is That Right?
But I Think I Love What You’re Doing To Help Make It Happen.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas: ABC Family Cut (Live Action)

ABC Family Cut

This cut has added most of the deleted scenes from the movie. Strangely, some of these deleted scenes never made it onto the DVD releases.

Has anyone recorded this with plans on doing a release? I saw deleted scenes like the “house light trimming” competition and I really would like to see a full blown version, for posterity if nothing else.

I know there are some who probably don’t like this movie…but I can tell you my daughter loves it and I really think Jim Carrey did an awesome job, even if he had to have some behind-the-scene therapist help him through the make-up issues…LOL

Cheers!!!

The Little Mermaid (1989) - 35 mm (fully funded)

Donors got access to a first release in November, but as already mentioned in the first post I can’t tell if and when a wider release is going to happen.

However, my project of “Mulan” still needs lots of fundings, so anyone who’s interested in helping on that one can of course also get access to “The Little Mermaid” right away: https://originaltrilogy.com/topic/Mulan-1998-35-mm-Help-needed/id/64031
