STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

Lovely! Last time I saw ESB was on a really small screen... on TV with advert breaks... I know I know... not the way to see the film, but seeing this clip in all it's lovely HD goodness is just spoiling me! I particularly liked the addition of more cloud city-ites running by... and of course the fleeing ships... nice add! But more than anything it's just seeing the clarity of the picture, it feels old and yet new... frothing at the mouth now.

*brings the popcorn this time... been stealing it too much lately... sorry RoccondilRinon*

Although it can be a little grating... Sevb32 is just asking. Short to-the-point answers might serve best. Though as a creative and living it day-to-day, I'm sure Ady is aware of everything Empire-Strikes-Back all to well! I bet he eats Empire (spagetti shapes), drinks Empire (promotional slushi's) and sleeps Empire (let's not go here, okay?)...

yeah I thought it seemed a little harsh. "Nitpicky" was essentially the wrong word to use in the interview... "accurate" would have been more precise. Hopefully the film will get it together and not twist words... though I did read a fairly luke-warm review the other week.

Okay... as far as I am aware it's 1024 x 576. I have been editing for many many years and when working in PAL Widescreen it has only ever been this for me. I have always however worked with Adobe and one thing I would note is this. Sometimes video in the 16x9 format have black handles at the horizontal sides of the picture. This could explain the issue with the ratio differences? Black handles are sometimes added specifically so that nothing from the side of the picture is masked off when viewed on TV which naturally cuts off the edges of the picture (hence action and title safe areas). Now that everything is moving towards HD, handles are no longer being used it seems even on SD widescreen footage.

That probably doesn't clear it up... but that's my two cents anyway!
