I'm sorry, it's not my blog or from anyone that I know.

My comment wasn't aimed at you. It was just a reminder to not to believe everything that's written on the Internet, because anyone can write on the Internet, and the subject is very hot at the moment. I too can create a blog and write "a source close to Lucas, yet asking to remain anonymous for obvious reasons, reports that RRS-1980 was contacted regarding planned yet-unnamed LucasArts space combat sim", and because last few words are a genuine rumor, it suddenly looks believable, yay!

Rejoice! So just a little miscommunication there haha. Yes I'm aware of the dangers of the interwebs, and I take information mostly with a grain of salt. This was actually a very good way for that reminder to be brought up.

Granted the source, there are some interesting speculations that I haven't heard of.

Honestly, a blog? You guys do realize that during such buzz-moment placing any Star Wars-related speculation suddenly helps to promote your blog?

I'm sorry, it's not my blog or from anyone that I know. Just asking, because from the looks of it you guys around here know what's reliable and what's not, and in my defense it looks like they had some info on the 3D versions but then again, they could have faked it.

Curse you excitement, clouding my judgment.

Hi guys, new around here, and what a time to be around.

Came across this today, and if true, man am I excited........

Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Princess Leia, C3PO and R2D2 are I am assured to feature prominently in the new trilogy, as was always the idea. Apparently some have already been approached. Quite a while back too to my understanding. Hamill is a certainty.

There are two trilogies planned, all following an original overview by Lucas, which was always planned as a multi generational saga. Movies 10 - 12 are from my understanding about the offspring of the Skywalkers, set many years later with the surviving cast playing much older versions of themselves and featuring a female protagonist named Skywalker.

...and from the few names I have heard being banded around I am very excited, as they are all choices that I think people will get behind.

- Steven Speilberg,

- Neil Blomkamp

- Alfonso Cuarón

- Matthew Vaughn

- Darren Arnofsky

- Joss Whedon.

You can expect lovingly restored prints of the original trilogy to surface in the near future.

Is this reliable? It looks like they nailed the 3D releases.
