Blade Runner: The Version You've Never Seen Before (Update: Beta Released)
Time

The thing about the Zora scene that I think will work showing both how Deckard finds the information and his rouse with Zora. It shows that he's smart coming up with that idea right off the top of his head, or who knows maybe he's done something like this before in the past so he knows it'll work. It just shows how Deckard is a good Blade Runner and why Bryant came to him in the first place.

Blade Runner: The Version You've Never Seen Before (Update: Beta Released)
Time

After watching this through, for the first time I really find the addition of the narration really added to the film. It made the film seem much more like a old noire film, and I found this extremely enjoyable. Wile this is still a rough cut it's coming together well. A few things I noticed while watching were a blank screen right after Deckard meets Zhora and she is suddenly in her clear trench coat and the big chase scene begins there isn't the whole dressing room scene. Another bit I thought was interesting is the cutting you did at the end with Tyrell, Roy, and Sebastian why did you take out the lines about the Chess Game.

Idea & Info: a Daria Soundtrack Preservation?
Time

Alright we'll what i'm thinking is:

1. I've found a website that says all the song's and artists.

2. If I can find or get copy's of your Dvd's MJPollard, I'll know exactly what clips to pull from Full song MP3's and put those into the Sweet Video source from the Official DVD's.

Looking at the website I'm gonna have my work cut out for me, with 9 to 15 song clips in each episode.

If you guys have any other suggestions let me know.

Idea & Info: a Daria Soundtrack Preservation?
Time

Now that Daria has finally arrived on DVD and we has the best quality video possible, but with none of the great music that in itself was another character in the show.

I’m wondering if we ourselves the fans can take the DVD’s and rip the video and add in those “expensive” music clips back in recreating Daria as it was meant to be.

Is anyone else already working on this project?

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

Ady I was watching Empire a few nights ago and noticed how bad the Wampa looked when it turned and screamed after Luke cut it's arm off. The jaw just drops open very puppet like. I'm not sure if you're even going to be keeping this shot because I know you're going for more of the original scary feel that the GOUT Empire had, but if you do decide to keep it in could you do what you did to some of the Cantina Aliens and give it more life some how?

Yours,

I could also help out and I live in the UK. Sent you a PM adywan. I'm really happy that this 14 gig mkv will soon be out. The picture quality was impressive. There were far fewer if any h.264 artefacts in the sample you posted a while back. I will also be able to help out seeding a torrent of this. If anyone can suggest a good tracker to upload it to.

I'd say use Demionoid

Star Wars DVD Covers
Time

Hopefully you've all seen Fanboys by now, and in listening to interviews and things I've heard that originally the DVD cover art was supposed to match the official Star Wars DVD's. The crawl even has the number VII that would fit right on the spine to fit right next to your favorite movies on the shelves.

I'm putting out a call for some of you very talented artistes to make it so. I'm not nearly as talented with photoshop or any photo editing programs other than Illustrator and I don't think that's gonna cut it but I'll try.

Thank you for bringing the topic back to where it should be Ady, this thread was getting almost unreadable.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, hope you feel better soon. Maybe this will cheer you up, I showed my Uncle who's influence and love for Star Wars made me a fan from childhood, Revisited. He loved and it and agrees with most of us here on the forum that that's the way the Special Editions should have looked.

Thank you for all your hard work and effort, get well soon.

Sin City: A Novel Cut Teaser NOW Available (Released)
Time

Hello everyone I’m currently working on a Fan Edit of one of the greatest Graphic Novel adaptations ever Sin City. I can remember becoming very excited for the release of this film when I went into Best Buy a week or so before it theatrical release, and getting a promo DVD that contained the first sequence from the movie and a few other scenes as well.

The special thing about this DVD was that it inter-cut stills from the Graphic Novel into the movie. I always and still do think this was a great idea, and as you know having seen the movie this wasn’t the way it was edited together in the end and that has always always kind of dissipointed me.

And taking my cue from Adywan I’m creating the best Vision of Sin City.

I’ll be using a 720p Blu-Ray rip for the master of the film and and using Adobe Illustrator I’m going to in some cases re-draw some pannels, extend some landscapes where necessary, and remove thought bubbles. By doing so I’ll be creating HD versions of the Images found in the Graphic Novel, that should hold up on any HDTV with no grain or distortion.

I hope you all enjoy this project as much and I do when it’s done, and I can’t wait to hear what you all have to say about it.

Here is the address for the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1hTfNX9Gjk

This is a rip of the Best Buy DVD my plan is to extend all the illustrations so they will fill the wide screen

Enjoy.

Superman by Taolar (Formally: Son of Jorel) WORKPRINT AVAILABLE
Time

So I finally got it off demonoid, and I must say it really did bring that nostalga of being a kid and remembering the movies for being much faster pased and I found it really enjoyable. For not having watched Superman 1 or 2 in years I feel the edit worked in bridging the 2 movies into one I really wasn't sure where one ended and 2 began, great job.

The only thing I can say is I do miss the Mt. Rushmore bit, and when Zod and crew are terroizing the town Ursa suddenly has a police badge on and I can't remember if she took it from a character you removed, but I'd like to see where she got it from.

Superman by Taolar (Formally: Son of Jorel) WORKPRINT AVAILABLE
Time

I'm really excited about this project, because I too remember Superman ans to a lesser extent Superman 2 being much more exciting when I was a child but uppon rewatching as an adult find them far slower and much less exciting. This project if the perfect recreation of what we allremember the Christopher Reeve Superman movies and I honesty can't wait to see it completed.

This brings me to my next point can someone please seed this on Demonoid so I can watch it and take part in this amazing edit.

Thanks,

Angel I would just like to say thank you for everything you do here, I've come to enjoy and look forward to your posts just as much as Ady's. I think your work is simply amazing, if I was half as good at photoshop as you were I'd be making a living off it, but you share with us your amazing work for free thank you.

I don't feel strange saying this because I'm sure I'm talking for everyone who reads or posts here, so again from us all thank you.

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

Hey Ady I love the new clip, the work you're doing is amazing!

Now that it appears that you're doing work on the asteroid chase, there have been a few things I

always wished were a little bit cleaned up from when the SE came out.

1. When the Falcon turns vertical in the canyon of the “Big One” to escape the final TIEs the

composite job ILM did on the shot where the TIEs actually explode I always wish was cleaned up, it

has transparency issues, and matte boxes, it just really sticks out like a sore thumb if you ask me and

anything you could do to alter it and use your magic on it would be wonderful.

2. At the beginning of the chase on “Big One” that ends with the destruction the TIEs, just before when the

Falcon and said TIEs head into the shallow spot that leads into the canyon. You can see that ILM painted in

the shadows under the ships which wouldn’t have been so bad but the shadow to the Falcon is circular

and in no way has the distinct front prongs of everyone favorite space vessel, and it has always bothered

me because it draws my eye every time I see it, because the shadow is so dark and so obviously incorrect.

Thanks again for your time I can’t wait to see the finished product!

Hello all I've been following this board and the ANH:R for some time but finally decided to make an account and take part in all the fun.

With all that discussion a while ago about how to end the movie, I remember something from when I saw Empire Special Edition in the theater years ago.

Now it may just be a fuzzy memory to me or something but I can remember at the very end of Empire when all the Rebel ships are at the nebula at the end just before the credits, I can remember seeing them all jump to light speed just before the credits rolled.

I can remember being super excited when the films came out on VHS to see that again because it was what I liked the most out of the added material in the Special Editions. Then to my surprise it wasn’t there, and I haven’t heard anybody mention it ever again.

So it could be all in my head, but I still like the picture that I’ve created there. So maybe if Adywan could do that it be a nice bit to add to the ending.

Thanks again for your time in reading this everybody.

We already covered that earlier in this thread. It never happened, it was just some people's imaginations feeding off of each other.

Well I think it be a nice little bit to add to the end of the movie.
