ORIGINAL STAR WARS TRILOGY OUT 09/2006 BY LUCASFILM
Time
Thank goodness for the fan edits here. I thought I would be purchasing these come September but since there are better versions available here, I'm keeping the ones I have. Does anything come out non-anamorphic anymore? I think Lucas is still trying to milk this one out. Many many people bought the 2004 dvds. Many more will buy these when released in September. Then come 2007 for a 30th anniversary the anamorphic ones will come out. Then later HD format will come out. This is a business after all but I for one am not falling prey to purchasing these over and over again. X0 lives on!

I don’t know if many people have heard about this controversial film but rumor has it that it will never see the light of day in the USA. I was wondering if anyone was thinking of doing a project so that those of us with NTSC only capabilities will be able to see it. Greatly appreciated if someone wants to take this on.

Idea: 'Kill Bill - The Whole Bloody Affair'
Time

With the recent news that Tarantino is planning on releasing this in the theaters in late '06, chances are we won’t be seeing this on dvd any time soon. I was wondering if there is a “whole bloody affair” project out there that could tide us over until we see the actual one some time next year. I believe the Japanese cuts are the ones that will make up the 2 volumes as one complete film. I don’t know if it is possible to accomplish this with only the scenes in Japanese to have the subtitles in it rather than the whole film. If there is not one out there, maybe one of the talented members here would want to take on the project.

Info Wanted: Roman Polanski's 'Repulsion' - has anyone done a Criterion preservation?
Time

Before finding this website (originally found to simply sign the petition to Lucas) I was doomed to never see the original trilogy again. Then I was mourning the loss of Blade Runner. Well, suffice it to say that this site has allowed me to enjoy these movies again in their original form on DVD. I was wondering if anyone has the Criterion Laserdisc of Polanski’s Repulsion and if so, if they would be willing to do a perservation project of that. This is another one I am dying for.
