Great see these comments from people who know of the theatrical version, and give a damn.
I was at Austin’s Paramount Theater the night of the Director Cut premier and had a brief conversation with Ethan. I complimented him on a favorite scene in “Miller’s Crossing.”
DVD flippers were common at the time and I asked him to put the theatrical version on the flip side of this new cut.
Guess my praise for “Shootout at Leo’s” was not as effective as I had hoped.
