I noticed that the video sources are the original Blu-Rays, and not the remastered Blu-Rays. It would be nice if a new version of this edit was made with them. Here’s where to find them:

Considering how they made a big deal about restoring the audio in their previous release, but messed it all up, my expectations are not super high. I doubt they will make these 25fps/50i this time around either. I also wonder if Aardman is straight up refusing to offer a master for A Close Shave that isn’t cropped, or if Shout has simply neglected to ask.
Is there an easy way to get A Matter of Loaf and Death at 25fps? The Lionsgate Blu-Ray may be at the correct audio pitch, but it’s still at 24fps.

I was watching a video of someone analyzing the story, and he was confused about the king saying that his daughter, the princess, is going to redeem and help by being a good person. Because if he wants to be a benevolent king, he should do that HIMSELF, right? Why is he waiting for the next generation to be a nicer guy?
Will you be using the original alarm sound on the Tantive IV in ANH:R HD, since they used that in Rogue One?
Just got back from seeing Episode 4 at the cinema. It was the “Maclunky” 2020 version but, f**k me, it looked and sounded gorgeous. This is NOT the same grade that is on the blu-rays/ Disney+. the colours for about 90% of the movie looked great. Not the flat/ sepia looking grade we have on the official physical media releases. Skin tones looked great, the highlights were punchy and not suffering with the flat highs of the blu-rays. The Tavtive IV corridors looked beautiful. Even the static grain problem that the latest blu-rays suffer with wasn’t noticeable at all. On thing however is that most of the special edition additions ( especially mos eisley) looked horrendously bad. Not just because they were suing 90’s CG tech, but they looked low res compared to the rest of the film. Blurry/ soft and a few shots didn’t even look HD.
There seemed to be some alterations in the sound mix too. Sound effects that aren’t present on the blu-ray mix. The music was much more prominent, a bit too much in places.
Are the colors and sound in this version similar to how they’ll be in ANH:R HD?
Are you still going to film new shots for the Battle of Endor at Redwood National and State Parks, or were those plans scrapped?
Much Better than the Blu Ray! Fantastic! Looks EXACTLY as I remember it at the Edens 2 in Northbrook, IL at 12:01 AM May 25th 1983 on that fabulous curved cinemascope screen. It always baffled me how all the digital releases got the color so darn wrong.
