Audio is importing into Premiere correctly?
Time

So I’m doing a similar edit to Josh Roush’s Evil Dead edit (where he joined all three films). So this is my first time doing this and everything was easy enough until it came time to add Army of Darkness to the rest of the project. The video was added fine, its the audio track giving me problems.

After about 20 minutes, the audio just starts over but the length of the track is still the same. So the audio of the last 20 minutes is cut. It happens in the source file in Premiere too. I tried re-importing it but it didn’t seem to work. I don’t know if I’m doing it correctly. AoD also has like 6 audio tracks but the other two movies had one. I don’t know what that means or if it’s relevant.

The audio is fine when I play the video on VLC. I tried separating the audio from the video with VLC with the help of a basic internet tutorial and I did, but I can’t import the file. “The file cannot be opened because of a header error.” I’m so close to completing this project but at this point I’m not really sure how to continue. I don’t seem to know enough to really have an idea of what’s actually going wrong to fix it.

Can anyone help?
