2. Kates backstory over Clints voice over of how he see’s himself, forcing Kate to see the man she’s idolised express how he really feels about himself
3. Different colour palette for different characters backstories, symbolising a different time and theme of how those characters see that time in their lives. e.g. Clints good memories of his mum have a sepia tone vibe while his bad memories have a film vibe / Echo’s being back and white for the death of her dad
4. Scenes from Black Widow
5. Scenes from Avengers Endgame

This edit concentrates on Clint coming to terms with him being more than a weapon, Kate coming to grips with reality and Yelena and Echos revenge plot.

I wanted to keep the heart of the relationships while cutting the stuff that I felt distracts from the message of the story.

Opening with Kate Bishop established as a vigilante wearing the Ronin suit in New York City, Clint will battle against time to clear her name from the maggia, leaving the perfect family christmas hanging in the balance. This cut forces Clint to come to terms with his upbringing, reliving the past in more extreme ways, trying to stop Kates future from becoming his past.
