I miss Movietube. It was a good for keeping up with TV shows I fell behind on. Oh well.

Well at the worst I'll likely have another Red Letter Media video deconstructing it to look forward to.
And at best I'll have seen my first good/decent Star Wars film at the theatre.
I'm cool with either outcome.

Fire whoever's been giving the shitty new comics and novels the stamp of approval and replace them with someone who'll actually say a great big "NO!" to schlock stories.
Abandon the stupid concept of "canon" once and for all and let the writers write whatever stories they may in whatever continuity they wish (be it a previously established continuity or their own personal continuity).
Cancel all the ongoing Star Wars comic series and replace them with a single SW series -- an anthology series containing multiple stories per issue focused on a wide variety of characters from various timeframes.
Publish fewer novels.
That's it -- that's all it would take to improve the nuEU for me.
I'd have to agree with you there. Forcing every story to fit into a single continuity was a large part of what made things so hard for me to follow. Give fans a choice of whatever writer's continuity they like more. Star Wars is big enough for this to work.
Also I'd like to see less retcons. Hundreds of those spilling into each other didn't help with my confusion.
Isn't the Punisher supposed to show up in the new season of Daredevil? That's something I'm excited for.
Longer than most. I'm 31 years old today so you can do the math. I was fairly young when episode I was released. I remember liking the lightsaber fight while the plot went mostly over my head. Same with Episode II.
My thought process was changing by the time ROTS launched. But largely I realized the prequels sucked in hindsight.
The casting of obi-wan was pretty spot on.
Not likely. Nobody is insulting anyone. 95% of what happens here is ignored. It's been plainly stated before.
Probably better to not ask.
Nope.
People with Spoiler-phobia who still browse forums about the subject they don't want to be spoiled on.
There are always going to be people posting spoilers where they don't technically belong. A simple fix would be to simply stay away altogether.
Uh.....
That's what it sounds like to me.
They'll prop up the EU despite Lucas stating they got everything post ROTJ "all wrong".
But the new movie is " glorified fan fiction ". Hm....
It's worse. Atris fell to the dark side at some point without admitting it to herself. So the Jedi are more or less following the code of a traitor.
And none of the exile's students thought that might be worth considering while they were busy rebuilding the order. No future Jedi did either apparently.
I guess it's good to have someone to blame for the PT Jedi.
It's also stupid because of how utterly contrived it is.
Atris from KOTOR II. She put fourth the idea of one student per master... Emotional suppression. And no romance/marriage.
This happened after the Exar Kun stuff in TOTJ.
And it went through.
Revan and most of the plot of KOTOR.
Malak as a villain and as a character.
A character nobody likes was responsible for the Old Jedi becoming the PT Jedi.

I thought I was going to tire of all the over saturation as well, but yet I find myself excited that Agents of SHIELD is returning for series three tonight.
I'm glad you're still enjoying things.
I'm currently waiting to see what kind of debacle the Batman/Superman movie turns into as DC stumbles towards a fast tracked Justice League movie.

All those pics of stupid Kylo Ren and his stupid lightsaber make me nauseous.
Fortunately, this image
helps settle my stomach.
I like that!
But what's the big deal about the dude's lightsaber? Looks a bit goofy but is it worse than other moronic designs we've seen before?
I've honestly grown tired of superheros. The market is over saturated as is.
I give the Daredevil series a high score but that's about as far as I go anymore.
I think Atris is redeemed or something. I honestly couldn't be bothered to care. She's a bitch who is better off dead.
To the point though...I believe she mentions Traya is waiting for Meetra on Malachor or something. Traya herself doesn't contact Meetra in this version.
Pretty much. The game is as unfinished as ever.
I thought the same thing. Except if you kill Atris Traya contacts Meetra and warns that if she doesn't follow her she will kill herself at Malachor taking Meetra's life in the process.
The problem is clarity. It's implied that her plan might have worked if she killed herself at Malachor V. Why she doesn't is anyone's guess. The force bond isn't lethal. She died and Meetra was fine. Why was unclear.
She also knew Mira would be there when the time came and had the evil wookie bounty hunter waiting to hold her back from catching up with Meetra. Problem is that the Exile doesn't seem to know Mira is even there. The two never meet up. It's unclear how Mira even gets off Malachor since the Ebon Hawke is taken by the Exile.
Did she return to the ship? Did Meetra track her down before leaving? Hell in one cutscene we see the ship falling into the planet's core. How did we get it back? How many other party members are here?
Nothing is clear. Everything is hazy and open to interpretation. That isn't a strength in this case.
I was watching The Walking Dead up to season 4. I stopped there. The writing was just getting to be shit. It wasn't top notch to begin with IMO.
I forgot to mention that I stopped following the Old Republic period when TOR came out. I thought it was a load of Shite. I hate the Sith Empire and its impressively lame Emperor.
Yeah they didn't exactly break a lot of new ground.
