Hey this looks just what I needed. I’m wanting to show the older versions of the movie to a hard of hearing friend.
Could I get a PM when you get the time?
Sorry, I’ve been busy. I just responded to every email sent though.
Thanks for this amazing project! I’m also just wondering what this Clone Wars 1440p version is that you mention. Was that an official release?
I believe the Disney+ Version allows 1440p. The show was always rendered at 1440p (except Season 7), but I’m pretty sure the Blu Ray releases were only 1080p at the time.
I haven’t extracted the video files form Disney+, so I can’t be certain. But I am fairly sure they are using the 1440p renders as they use 4K with the movies and other shows.
Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll ever see another Blu Ray release outside of the films because of Disney+ now. Clone Wars has been over for a while and Rebels has been over for years and we still have zero word on physical box sets to rip from.
I check my email about once a week for this, so sorry if I don’t get to you right away. I answered every email and PM I have tho.
Wow, this is pretty interesting! What was your process for upscaling the cartoon?
I used a new program that came out this year called Video Enhance AI. It’s based off of the Gigapixel AI upscaler, only for video. It’s worked like a charm, and even has given some great stills from the Holiday Special beleive it or not.
Took it a while to do both Volumes, since its basically two movies, but it worked out great.

A few months ago I upscaled Clone Wars to 4K. Unfortunately, I found out Star Wars forums tend to look down on fan edits/restorations. Figured you guys might appreciate it though.
I always thought it wrong that we never got a re-release of this show in higher quality, since the first two seasons of TCW treat it as canon more or less. It does a good job introducing Ventress and Grievous without needing to read a book or comic. We also have TCW Seasons 1-6 in 1440p, and Season 7 in 4K, along with all the films and Mandalorian. So it’s bothered me having to downgrade to 480p when watching 2003 Clone Wars.
