Haha, good to see you, ender. Planning on using the new e-book footage for your project?

That's what I figured. It was either that or Rebel Assault II. But it looks too good for Rebel Assault II.
This is a pretty stupid question, but one that I do wish to ask.
If you don’t know, Star Wars BDFC is a rather insane German made fan-edit that extends the original Star Wars from 121 min. to 150 min. There’s a lot of newly made scenes and re-used footage, but hey, this guy was having fun, so more power to him.
My question comes from wanting to identify what footage he used in this scene:
Around 0:30. I was only asking because I would like to make an imaginary wishlist of my personal Star Wars Fan Edit, and would like to cite the sources I’d use for any additional shot, and this shot would be a shoe in.
So, why exactly hasn't a ESB 70mm preservation started yet? Is it because we don't have 100% information, or is it just a lack of time?
Does it have the alternate take of "Princess, we'll find Han. I promise." from the original 70mm mix?
Thanks. I was just wondering, since I'm almost certainly going to be getting Puggo Strikes Back soon. What is the content of this alternate mix you speak of?
I think this is a very good idea, as a nice little way of keeping up continuity.
They are different edits though, aren't they? The Behind the Magic CD and BD versions?
Wait, alternate narration? I thought you meant just re-editing the documentaries with different footage. THAT would be superfluous.
Nah, that's unnecessary. Just stick to this project.
Yeah, ESB is what I'm looking forward to the most. SO many interesting story changes and cut scenes.
BTW still have yet to watch When Star Wars Ruled the World. How is it?
OK, for Cut Scenes videos and images, go to this site:
http://www.starwarz.com/tbone/category/cutscenes/
if you haven't already. Great info and plenty of video clips.
Well, you'll have to pillar box because all of the behind the scenes footage in Making of Star Wars and other such documentaries were 4:3.
OK, sorry for my rant.
BE SPECIFIC!!! WHAT is so ultimate about it?! WHAT makes it so superior?! Post a clip so we can see what you're talking about!
Do tell. My curiosity is piqued. Although I have a sneaking suspicion that this will just be SW Begins with more deleted footage and a better quality source for the actual film.
That being said, I will be glad to help if you need any reference sites or information.
OK, so I'm new here, and I have some questions regarding ESB.
1. I once heard from someone who said that they had a 16mm print of ESB that contained some audio idiosyncrasies. Namely, Luke lets out a little scream as the floor gives out under him in the Cloud City vents. Is this on Puggo Strikes Back?
2. Is a good preservation of the 70mm version being worked on currently?
3. What has our best color source been determined as currently? The 16mm? The Betamax telecine.
4. Has anyone ever attempted to assemble a complete Hoth Battle Animatic from official and/or unofficial releases?
THIS is what I remember the promotional images for ROTS looking like. Much moodier and 3-Dimensional looking. eman, you're doing a great thing. This will be a great resource for fan-edits.
I have no doubt that there would certainly be some more to work with for fanedits if this cut were released. I could think of some things I would use in my own personal one right now.
I've always wanted to do a version of ROTJ that included the original opening, the original unedited John Williams score, and the scene of Luke jumping up to the Rancor grate.

I wish there were some way to get back the detail that was scrubbed away in the '04 version. The only problem is that practically every version we have is either excessively DVNR'ed or too noisy to use.
OK, I though the claim of a 4 hour cut of Blade Runner was insane! I knew there were a lot of cut scenes for TPM, but not 6 hours worth!
