I have episode 1, 3 and 4 completed but right now my harddisk seems to have a problem and I get the bluescreen of death every time I start so I need to fix it. Before the PC crashed I have prepared the first episode for upload so maybe I can get that baby online asap

Here the outlines of the episodes:

Episode 1: The Temple

After detonating the hydrogen bomb the goup learns that they are back in the year 2007. Jacob reveals himself to Hurley and tells him that the only way to save Sayid is to bring him to the temple. Meanwhile the person masquerading as John Locke is facing the others. A flashback reveals ho the mysterious Jacob was brought to the Island

Having lost everything when the hydrogen-bomb blew up, Sawyer joins Locke's impostor who promises him that he can answer the most important question of them all "what is the reason why the survivors of oceanic 815 were brought to the island?"
While Jin is being taken care by Claire Hugo gets a job assigned by Jacob.

Claire arrives at the temple to deliver a message: that Jacob is dead and that everyone who is at the temple will be killed come sundown. In an act of desperation Dogen offers Sayid a chance to prove that he is indeed a good man. Over the course of the events the story of Jacob and his brother is continued, shedding some light on how the smoke monster was created.

Hey Everyone, haven’t posted a lot on these forums, mostly following Adywan’s Star Wars Revisited here,
anywho since this is also a place for sharing ongoing fanedits I decided to post my project:

Lost Season 6: Purged**

Lost, a television phenomenon, building upon mysteries and character drama ended last year with a resolution that was to put it mildly dissatisfying to many long time watchers.
A big part of my personal disappointment was the fact that we were distracted with a big “mystery” solely constructed to distract from the actual plot and culminate into a sappy soap opera fanfiction group hug.
The sideways could have been an interesting concept and every week fans tried to figure out how it connected to the story - was it because of the hydrogen bomb? Or was there something even bigger going on? Would the sideways help our understanding of Lost?
What I understood: magic happy place so that we can have a clipshow at the end.
Also the fact that the writers withheld some of their answers to pretend that there would still be big revelations probably caused a lot of frustration, when everyone was looking towards Across the Sea shortly before the End and it turned out to be a lackluster “explanation” to be polite.
Since there are no more flash-backs, -forwards or -sideways, the Episodes “Across the Sea” and “Ab Aeterno” appear thorough the story to slowly unveil the backstory of the island and not hold back to build up more expectation than humanly bearable.
The explanations that are given are still the same “I made it so you can never hurt each other” and other versions of "magic man did it, so the story itself is not changed in those flashbacks, but I think if the last season had been a bit more straighforward with the backstory the frustration wouldn’t have been as big - or at least we would have had more time to prepare ourselves for the final bitchslap

also I try to remove any lines that are there to build fake-tv tension where none exists (see when they enter the temple and the note reads “if your friend dies we’re all in big trouble” whereas it was pretty much not that important if sayid dies or not)

Also there is a serious kate reduction. i hate everything about her character, she is useless, onedimensional, uninteresting and does nothing to the plot except for “love” into the story so all her “romance” will be reduced.

If you liked the ending because “it was all about the characters”, this edit is not for you, this is an edit for everyone who would still like to watch an ending for the series without half a season of distraction, if you want a fast packed finale that wastes as little time as possible, this edit might be just for you.

Removed Dogen talking about a “scale” that decides good or evil - I mean seriously?
Removed Jack meeting Kate when they go to the lighthouse
Removed flashback when Smokey explains Jacob’s touch to Sawyer
Removed flashbacks that shove Adam and Eve down our throats
Sun does not lose her voice for no reason at all
Cut “where’s my husband” and Sun overreacting in the camp
inserted Dharma Station 1 - The Hydra video when Jin is kept in Room 23
When Desmond gets blasted with electromagnetism he has a vision of Penny (sideways footage) also there is a new montage of future events hinting that Desmond now understands what the future will bring, therefore he cooperates
Cut “explanation” of the whispers - need I elaborate?
New opening montage of places on the island for final episode to replace sideways opening
Reduced Jack and Desmond talking
cut Desmond mentioning the sideways
cut Desmond saying “I’m still here, i thought I’d leave this place” when jack gets him back
added Ben shutting down the Dharma Station
added Ben visiting Walt
added new ending

Availability:

I go through the season always two episodes a piece to combine them to one episode. Once I’m done with an episode I will upload it for people to view so i can get some feedback before doing the final dvds and all the fancy stuff

Needed right now:

If anyone has the german dvds or a dvd with a german audio track it would be amazing if you could send me the audio
Also people who speak either french or german are welcome since I will focus on the english version, then replace the audio with german and french but I don’t see myself watching every episode in all three languages that’s a bit too insane even for me

TBH until TESB:R the DVD versions are still the best ones to get compared to the laserdisc transfer

Anywho, fantastic new pics ady... I thought after the final trailer this was it... but the awesomeness is still getting better

Sometimes I think it might be over the top the way we star wars nerds react to the SE changes - after all it is just a movie

But whenever seeing clips from revisited it makes me happy that i DO care about tiny details

Wow ady, fantastic work as usual, Yoda looks great and it's a treat to see a non-green artoo detoo, the mud on the droid looks far more realistic if it isn't glowing like in the dvd

needa's shuttle at the end was a nice christmas addition since i fully expected the clip to end after "this is why you fail" thanks so much for your work

As wonderful as James Earl Jones is, I grew up with the German voice (Heinz Petruo) who did an amazing job as all of the voice actors did in the SW films. Unfortunately, Petruo died in 2001 and therefore wasn't available to dub the infamous "alert my star destroyer"-scene which were dubbed by another voice actor. So, all the fans of the English version can feel lucky to still have James Ear Jones. ;-)

the german vader voice just rocks, that's the only gripe about revisited that i have to watch the OT in english when i have grown way to accustomed to the nuances of the german voices (who did such an amazing job, Hans-Georg Panczak just gives Mark Hamil much needed credibility, when i first watched SW in english i was surprised how whiny luke was

I even remember reading somwhere that this was IG-88 (from the Star Wars Fact-File that came out years ago). The story was that there were about 5 (or so) robots like this IG-88 and Boba Fett was their main enemy

One of those droids followed Boba to cloud city and got shot by Boby and dumped into the garbage, so I always wondered why this IG in the garbage was white - the rest looks quite alike

Well if they get the picture even better (of course there'll be the annoying tint) at least ady has a great fundament for Jedi in 1080p I'd say...

I'm not expecting any "improvements" expcept if the horrendous puppet yoda in ep1 is replaced by the digital one... that would be cool

Why should there be towers? We didn't see any when the probe droid called in the generator, nor in any other shot. Do you mean those turrets and trenches?

yeah that's what i meant - just some kind of activity or the regular "star wars junk" lying around - it just seems very sterile

hey everyone, i found  a list i made a while back with some ESB-R suggestions, thought I'd share it:

• There's a terrible fade after the conversation between Luke and 2-1b. I don't know what you guys thinks of this, but those fades are one of the most annoying things Lucas uses – especially in ROTS Lucas overdid the fades. Don't know if you want to keep the awkward fade.

• When the AT-AT opens fire on the main generator there is nothing but snow between him and the target – shouldn't there be towers?

• The MF escaping from Stardestroyer – Hoth should be in the background, because if they would have been so far away from Hoth, there would be no gravity-shadow and Han would have already tried to jump to hyperspace.

• I think it has been mentioned before, but how about replacing Dagobah with the ROTS Dagobah, the current one looks very familiar to Hoth.

• How about adding Aura Sing to the Bounty Hunters?

• I'm sure it has been mentioned, but the background in the scene where Lando etc. come out of the door – just arw... background.

• Luke leaves Dagobah – there's this beautiful deleted scene from Revenge of the Sith where Yoda lands on dagobah and it has a shot of dagobah's cloudy sky - why not use the footage to show the x-wing leaving through dagobah's clouds.
  

• When Chewie safes C3PO, there is an IG-88 model in the background. From the EU I know, that Boba Fett „killed“ this unit, which was following him and dumped it on Cloud City – the awkward thing about this IG-88 is the yellowish tint, because IG-88 is clearly black – we could argue that it's not the same IG-88 from the Stardestroyer-bounty-hunter-gang, but for continuity reasons IG-88 would it be possible to colour him black?

Hey everyone, second post here, long time reader

I just wanted to say something that bugged me about one of your tweaks edit:

During the arrival at dagobah the starfield behind Luke is rotating upwards, indicating that the nose of the x-wing goes up when entering the atmosphere, now this nose-up movement is the one we are accustomed to because of real life examples, when spaceshuttles re-enter the atmosphere

however in the OT-movies the X-Wings and Starships always enter the atmosphere by heading, nose-down to the planet, so the starfield should be rotating downwards - just something i caught when watching the vid

The trailer for Episode V looks amazing and my generic choice of words can't do justice to the level of sheer buttered fried awesomes of the new material

cloud city shot is breathtaking same goes for the escape sequence, you were right when you stated that we would see escaping ships in the moving clip
