But the best physical release out there if you want something that more resembles how the movies looked theatrically, your best bet is the 2010 theatrical cut BDs

I’ve been looking through all the various fan edits. Is there a version that simply regrades the theatrical version? I have the Blurays and the 4K discs but I was hoping to find a corrected 1080p version of the theatrical. I could edit down the 4K theatrical but taking it from 4K to 1080p would crush my computer. Does such an edit exist?

I’d be interested in this as well. I struggled to even get to the 2nd season but I’ve heard so many Trek fans swear by the show. I want to see what I’m missing (especially by season 3) but it’s a struggle.
Would like a PM with link whenever you can. I think I’ve watched the syndicated (BD) versions so much I’d love to see what I’m missing.

What’s the last version of ROTJ? I have 2.6 of ANH/ESB but apparently 2.15 of ROTJ.
I’m kinda of surprise we haven’t heard of a TLJ regraded announcement. Last year around this time he released RO just days after the digital release. Leading up a couple weeks before releasing RO he did v2.6 updates of ANH and TESB. Even back in December leading up to TLJ in theaters he did V3’s of the PT. Id figure he would have done something similar. Like having ESB 2.6 with Ian McDiarmid, ROTJ 2.6 with the choice or Yub Nub or Victory Celebration. He also spoke of a V2 of TFA a couple months back. I’m not trying to sound impatient or anything, its just he usually has a regrade announcement just days after it’s release.

You’ll have to make this yourself. People who have made semi-specialized versions always seem to include the Tatooine dinosaurs. So much is changed in that film, there would never be a semi consensus, and would just require DIY.

KK650 says he has a version coming out very soon with Ian’s emperor. I think he also has some of the full Wompa shots in it, though.

I got it to work finally after using the LA patch for joysticks. I also gave up on the Windows 2000 box I was trying to run it on and am just running everything on my Win7 x64 box. It all works flawlessly now.

I have the DOS versions of the Collector's editions I used DOSBOX and I now have proper graphics/sound. Problem is now I cannot get my USB gamepad to properly calibrate. I am using an old Gravis GamePad Pro. I go through the calibration at the start of the game but I cannot move the stick anywhere but down right. Any ideas what DOSBOX settings I need to change?
I actually think the new Sarlaac is an upgrade.

I really like what Ady and Harmy are doing with their edits. It’s beyond impressive but after watching both versions I am wanting something else. I actually like some of the added CG scenes from the 97SE (particularly from the Death Star Battle in ANH). Ady’s version is also amazing but I think he went a little too far in adding stuff especially after I watched his version of the Death Star Battle.
Is there a version that is a cut that falls between Ady’s and Harmy’s?
I basically want some of the CG scenes (exteriors/ships) included but do not want some of the horrific GL additions in there.
I’m looking for:
-Han shooting first
-No Jabba scene
-restored/corrected colors and sabers
-no SE Wampa
-original Emperor scene in ESB with Vader
-no awful Jabba’s palace musical number
