Hi JJ, first off great work on these projects (Lawdog too) As for the no-win situation I would say make a decision based on the format and file size you personally would prefer to release them in as they are your work and loads of people (myself included) appreciate the time and effort you guys put into these types of project as well as appreciating the end product.
My personal opinion is that h.265 for the smaller file size would be great (but then I may be biased as I can play these back without issue) but it certainly wouldn’t change my opinion that these are amazing fan edits if they were only released in a larger file size
