First, I view the "Introducing" line as somewhat of a subtitle for the video, so "Introducing the sources" looks wrong to me. Alternatively, "INTRODUCING THE SOURCES" might be read as shouting. Instead, I've changed it to "Introducing the Sources", which matches the capitalization format in the German and French subtitles provided here.

That seems reasonable.

Second, I wrote "Team Negative1" they way they signed their recent post in this thread.

Very good. It's all about spelling it the way they themselves prefer.

hehe, I didn't even realize I had spelled it that way on my website until you just pointed it out. It doesn't really matter to me, but I slightly prefer Puggo Grande, and will likely change it to that on my website one of these days soon. Thanks for your attention to detail.

Attention to detail is what this thread is all about, right? ;-)

Awesome. The Transcript has been updated to reflect the username corrections and fix the last "bluray". If there are any other corrections you think I should make, just let me know.

Looks great, although you forgot to fix "X-Wing -> X-wing". Also, I'm unsure about how team negative1 wants their name capitalized. They spell it with no capitalized letters, but I'm not sure if that's just writing style or the way they prefer it. I suppose the only way to know is to ask.

Thanks for the feedback, Airwave.

My pleasure. Thanks for doing the subtitles. I decided to do another read of your updated version to see if I missed something while reading it the first time. I have two small corrections. At the start, in "[ Introducing The Sources ]", "the" and "sources" should not be capitalized (alternatively, capitalize the whole thing). Also, "X-wing" is spelled with a lowercase w.

In addition, this time I decided to check that all references to users on this forum and their projects were spelled and capitalized the way they do it themselves. I have the following corrections to usernames and project names:
Dark Jedi -> dark_jedi
Team Negative One -> team negative1
Puggo Grande -> Puggo GRANDE

This is the way they themselves spell it, so I figured we should respect that.

I have left one deliberate "bluray" instead of "blu-ray" for search engine keyword optimization since I bet a lot of people Google for "bluray" without the hyphen.

That shouldn't be necessary. When people search for misspellings like that, Google automatically corrects them. Notice when searching for "bluray" all the highlighted matches to "blu-ray".

English subtitles for the Video Sources Documentary are now complete! Get the .srt file with the direct link below:

Looks great. I took the liberty of reading it over, and I have a few small corrections.

25
00:02:37,250 --> 00:02:42,609
based on the colors of a
well preserved Technicolor print.

I believe it should be "well-preserved" (with a hyphen).

68
00:06:40,789 --> 00:06:44,270
A scan of the first part of the Mos Eisely scene

"Mos Eisley" is misspelled.

And finally, "Blu-ray" is spelled without the hyphen throughout the subtitles. The hyphen should be included.

I'm downloading the current version (v2.0) right now. I discovered the annoyance that is the CAPTCHA. For all yall, it's the thing that prompts you to "retype these letters" in JDownloader every 10-seconds.

Even after I go through the settings and check "Disable Automatic CAPTCHA" it still does it! This is a real buzzkill. I can't just sit at my computer for 10hrs typing this over and over again. It keeps interrupting the download.

Anyone know how to do away with it for good?

Disabling the automatic CAPTCHA will do the opposite of what you want. jDownloader can automatically fill in the CAPTCHA for you for some sites, which that option disables. For some sites, however, the CAPTCHA has to be entered by a human. If you don't want to have to enter the CAPTCHA, you're going to have to download from a place that doesn't use them.

A place such as...

MySpleen or Usenet.

Can anyone confirm if the MS torrent is known to be good, i.e. free of the corruption issues that existed in the TPB torrent?

I'm watching it now, and I'm about an hour in. No issues at all so far. And I might add: the quality is absolutely superb. Harmy really outdid himself on this one. Can't wait for ESB and ROTJ.

Why wasn't the torrent just upped in its original format, ie rar parts and pars?

The TPB torrent is useless, how can you repair with any rar program when there are no rars?

Torrents already repair on their own, without any need for RAR or PAR files.

Not true. If you upload a corrupt file you will download a corrupted file.

Yes, but if you RAR and PAR a corrupt file, you'll unpack a corrupt file. I suppose if you know for sure that the file contained is non-corrupt, then it provides parity, but as long as you make sure that the unpacked file is fine and the .torrent file is fine, you save everyone a lot of inconvenience by torrenting the video files directly instead of the RAR and PAR files.

So I didn't touch the Threepio folders in anyway. Which extraneous files are you referring to?

The following files are present in the Threepio directory in the MySpleen torrent, but not in the TPB torrent: _README.html, prep_subs-match.pl, preb_subs-rtl.pl, prep_subs.pl, and the directory "vsfilter.dll", containing centerleft_mod_src.7z and VSFilter.dll. Whether they're supposed to be included or not, I don't know, but it's an anomaly between the two torrents.

Size:  15.7 GB (16,888,247,344 bytes)
Size on disk:  15.7 GB (16,888,250,368 bytes)

Those GBs are actually GiB. If the file in question is 16 888 247 344 bytes, it is 16.888247344 GB (gigabytes).
1 GiB (gibibyte) = 1 073 741 824 bytes
1 GB (gigabyte) = 1 000 000 000 bytes

The terms are often used interchangably, thus spawning some confusion. Drive makers use GB, while operating systems usually use GiB, while still calling it "GB". If the USB stick in question is marketed as 16 GB, it probably has room for 16 billion bytes, thus making to file too large. He'd have to remove some audio tracks.

Also, since I'm posting here anyway, I might as well use this opportunity to say thank you so much, Harmy, and happy birthday.
