I'm sure Thrawn won't be in the new series but the idea of building up the New Jedi Order and dealing with the remnants of the Empire could be some strong plot lines. Also a more interesting use of clones than in the prequels would be more than welcome.

I'd also love to see some of these ideas used in Episode 7 and beyond. I'm sure Thrawn won't be in the new trilogy, but the idea of building up the beginning of the New Jedi Order and dealing with the remnants of the Empire could be strong plot lines.
