Odo probably had to go into the holosuites on occasion during the occupation, and saw things best left to the imagination. ;)

What was going on in that scene????
You know there is a reason Patrick Steward is one of my favorite actors of all time and Picard is my favorite Sci-Fi captain of all time.
Thanks that was pure awesome!
The best has to be Goldburge's out take because we all know that is what the Holideck would really be used for.
As do Barclay and Quark. ;)

You know if I had the money I would collect the Laser discs of everything Star Trek just for the cool LP style covers.
Every time I start to feel tempted to grumble about the price of boxsets or shipping times from Amazon I just remember that I used to have to go all the way to dover(45 minutes away)to special video store and pay $25 for a single episode of Star Trek on VHS. Those were the days. Compared to that getting an inter season on Bluray for $60 in a case that will fit on my shelf doesn't seem so bad:)
Welcome to my nightmare. ;)
There are LD's of many films I just can't let go of because the jacket art is too cool. Maybe someday I can frame them all and hang them up.
You'd think somebody would make a wall display/storage system for 12 inch vinyl records. They would pop out easily when you actually want to play one.

I recently acquired Japanese LD releases of Generations, First Contact, and Insurrection so it's gonna be a movie weekend. I miss having some version of Star Trek to come home to on TV aside from reruns.
It's too bad the TOS LD boxsets are still so bloody expensive. Some of the Trek tv specials and documentaries only came out on video in Japan as extras in those sets.
Congrats. If all else fails, public libraries do have free internet access, although there's usually a long line for that. I can't see think of any logical reason they would block this site.
If you have a laptop or some other device, there are lots of free wi-fi spots around. And in some locations, you can use the wi-fi from outside, even when an establishment is closed. ;)
I would just ignore them. They didn't stop watching the Clone Wars when Simon Pegg voiced Dengar, and they'll buy a ticket to whatever standalone this fellow makes, if only to kvetch about it afterward. ;)
We're in this amazing new era. One nobody would have thought could happen when the saga was supposedly over and done nine years ago, and some people actively look for new things to be unhappy about.
I like him more than Michael Bay. And Van Helsing is a guilty pleasure flick of mine. ;)
A Harold Ramis tribute would be nice, although I suspect these discs were finalized before he passed away.
He did turn the tide of battle, and Ewoks can't drive a stick shift. ;)
The positioning of Slimer behind the spook is rather unfortunate. ;)
I hope GBII will be available on it's own.

Or not have everyone be an expert at every point in human history.
It was really funny seeing the DS9 crews shocking lack of knowledge about the 23rd century in Trials and Tribbleations. From presuming the turbolifts work exactly the same, to trying to order Raktajinos, down to mistaking a crewman for Kirk! It's a wonder Sisko was able to use a console on the Enterprise bridge. ;)

Wait what? Some remade Rear Window?
Why do people keep trying to remake Hitchcock? I guess it's only a matter of time before we get a remake of The Seventh Seal with giant robots.

Even Hitchcock remade Hitchcock.

Many of Sir Alfred's films are better known than the books/stories they are based on.
Robert Bloch wrote a couple sequel novels to Psycho, which have nothing to do with the movies.

Wonder if someone will Photoshop some robes onto Mark?
Question: Am I posting these pictures in the right thread? I thought this thread was for possible spoiler pictures, but I don't think this one qualifies as a spoiler picture since Mark isn't in costume... at least I hope he isn't!
It's fine, as there has been much discussion as to whether Mark, Harrison, and Carrie would be in shape for the movie. Just seeing Mark holding a lightsaber again is exciting!
I have serious doubts about that mouse eared fellow though. ;)
The pirated movie posts make me nostalgic for kitchen remodeling spam. ;)
Did he bury them? Would have been horrifying if he dug in the wrong place, as there's a couple unmarked graves around the farm already. Under the circumstances, it was better to get off world quickly and be presumed dead.
I'm sure friends or neighbors would have buried the bodies though.
I don't think he "got over" their deaths quickly any more than Leia got over Alderaan right away. There wasn't time to mourn with the Empire looking for the droids. He saw Obi Wan "die", so that provoked a reaction.

Yeah, so who cares about the poles? I'm sure that won't have any effect on the rest of the planet.

Funny thing is, I recall some old tv show from the late 70's or early 80's, where your typical meglomaniac wanted to blow a hole in the ozone with a rocket or something. I don't know if the writers were implying people under the ozone hole would fry like bacon or get skin cancer 10 years later.
Given how many areosol sprays made me wheeze in the '70's, I think we are better off without CFC's anyway.
Living with a grouch like Owen, and years of weaving a web of lies every time Luke asks about you know who will do that to you. ;)
I wonder if they should just let Ghostbusters 3 die. I'm totally sour on such a thing with Harold Ramis gone. No Egon, no sale. I doubt they'd even get Bill Murray to come back.
We are so damned lucky we're getting the original gang back for Star Wars.
To be fair, the extras we've seen might be working out in the sun all day. Sadly, I don't think Beru left the house much.
Did anybody have this in their yard back in the day? I recall Toys R Us selling these, but it looks like an accident waiting to happen now.

Hey kids! Have fun planning Ewok massacres! Your Emperor commands you!
This photo piqued my interest. A new type of Astromech droid? They look like an older model than Artoo though.

I wonder if Nog ever forgot he was living in a holodeck and went to the bathroom in Vic's hotel.
As there are several episodes where characters are trapped in a holodeck simulation for a considerable length of time, I presume the plumbing works. ;)
I would presume food on a holodeck is real too.
On a related note, I always thought Sisko's objections to the Vic Fontaine program was odd and out of place. I never took it as a historically accurate depiction of 1960's Las Vegas, it's clearly modeled on an Ocean's 11 type movie fantasy Vegas. (The Sinatra one.) It's no more to be taken seriously than Bashir's spy program.

Wasn't Jabba Stuart Freeborn's baby? In the old documentaries, it doesn't appear Jabba is being made at ILM with the other aliens.
Jabba was made separately because they pretty much had to turn an entire room into a kiln to bake the molds.
Yes, I know. If you see that footage in the documentary, it looks like Jabba was made in the UK. Freeborn is even wearing winter clothing that looks a bit severe for Northern California. You don't see him in any of the ILM footage.

Maybe the Millennium Falcon will pop out with a secret compartment mini ship just like the original Kenner toy.
Actually, it was the more recent larger Hasbro version that introduced that feature. The idea of a smaller ship aboard the Falcon did figure into the plot of The Wookiee Storybook, published in 1978.
