While our company is in touch with Disney, we are not the owner or distributor of the film - therefore we are not able to control the release of any additional footage. The footage contained within the documentary “Not Just A Goof” was licensed from Disney by the documentary production company CNEK, but the shots that were censored are not contained within that licensing agreement.

Well, here goes my 2 cents,

First of all, thank you for the work you guys have done this past 3 years and half.
You’ve done a superb job, and i am so glad this fan restoration has provided new proffesional job offers.
So congrats on getting it done!

On the other hand, i feel that all your efforts and dedication may have been in vain.
We will probably never see this movie in 4k HDR Atmos.
Disney won’t allow it.
And even if they eventually do, it will be a lazy job and way worst than yours.
A lot of fans release their works and still get hired so it could ve been different.
Any way, hope you guys reach your goals and good luck in your future proffesional/fan projects.

Amazon released a open matte version in 1080p.

As i said a couple of messages above, this project is not dead, i contacted him recently and he is busy working on more important things at the moment.
He will come back to it eventually.

DrDre is working on a new colour matching algorithm for professional purposes, so he do not have that much time.
He will get back to us eventually.
Only 1st part of FOTR is available.

I am thinking about making a regrade of the new UHD Transfers of LOTR, so they look like the DVDs, in terms of sharpness and definition would it be worth it or should i stick to this version?
