I haven't seen it yet either, I'll be getting it off Johnny Ringo in a couple days. I hate my ISP. No Usenet, no torrents... I can't wait for the DVD9 release. I shall PIF like there's no tomorrow. I have about two dozen people at least on the list of people to copy it for.

The main thing that bothers me with the SE changes to Cloud City is continuity. That and the fact that in one shot, you can see the reflections of the background on the floor where you should only see reflections of Lando and Leia. Just my 2c (and token post so's I can subscribe to this thread =p).

In the first place it wasn't Henson, it was the same crew that did the rest of the movie, it just happened to be Frank Oz performing it.

In the second, my first reaction was "NOOOOO, Adywan would never touch him" but on seeing what he did to the aliens in the Cantina some (very) subtle changes along similar lines would not be unwelcome. However I won't mind if he leaves him completely alone, and let's not crystal-gaze too much just yet.

Awesome news re the update, Ady! This will be the best Christmas ever! (Or January or, you know, whenever-you're-done.)

I wouldn't discount the possibility of using a bit of music from somewhere in the PT just because it's from the PT, or leaving a section musicless. Some of the greatest action scenes have no music; the chariot race in Ben-Hur is the most obvious to me, and of course they made the same choice for most of the pod race in The Phantom Menace. Cueing the music part way through a sequence (like they did in the pod race) is an excellent way to heighten the excitement. If you can't find appropriate music, please don't cut the sequence.

I know Star Wars is not exactly known for sticking to the laws of physics, but the explosion wouldn't stick where the TIE exploded, all the little pieces would continue along the path of the TIE's motion. It looks fine to me.

Myself, I'm not too fussed over the "Biggs/Wedge" edit, I'm happy with it staying Biggs but the other would have been OK. But that's what I like about the forum — we all contribute in a small way, and at least we know our feedback is being heard whether Ady accedes to particular suggestion or not.

Sorry to hear of your medical troubles Adywan (both with your body and the Establishment); I hope you manage OK, congrats on quitting, keep it up, and I so look forward to the completion of the edit. And to the Adywan Editions of Episode V and VI should you do them.
