OK, so I've been playing around with the last few scenes from ROTS for a while now:
Wonderful! I think all the ideas you you've presented here would work perfectly if you can find a way to more seamlessly integrate them. 5 stars
(NOTE: I've rated this higher than many other vids I've commented on. Those who would protest, keep in mind I am judging this for what it is. An idea; a concept; a mock-up.)

Here's the same clip with the falcon's shadow pass added

Brilliant Ady, just brilliant. Oh how I've missed this thread. X )

Please tell me what you think! Personally I am very happy with how it turned out.
This trailer was extremely moving! Good work! A few minor critiques:
1) I would remove, at least, the very first percussion cadence you have in there before Obi-Wan is about to show Luke the lightsaber. As it is now, you've begun to tease the coming tension when I haven't even had time to settle into the first mindset you're trying to establish.
2) You're closing caption "The story of . . . . . told simultaneously" is an awfully vanilla choice of phrasing consider how much building up your trailer has done before reaching this point. I would consider coming up with something a bit more compelling for your trailer sign off with.
All things considered, 5 Stars and a "Favorite!"
EDIT: I just caught the brief hesitation you gave Ben before he says "Darth Vader." It really goes a long way to selling the idea that Ben is in fact lying about him being Luke's father. Bravo, Bravo!
EDIT 2: Where is the music from? Is it Metal Gear Solid?
My most sincere condolences. Thoughts and prayers always.

My first colour correction in a while. This shot bugged the hell out of me, so I had to do some work. There was no rotoscoping to do this either.
Original Trilogy FTW!!!
*Thumbs Up*
Thanks also.

Hi guys,
A motion test to see if Han and Chewie could be resized to improve the scale of the Falcon, at present I've only adjusted Han, gonna try and fix Chewie & dash next. I also fiddled with the droid who interrupts the next scene of Han & Luke as suggested by Vaderios, I know Ady isn't going to fix these scenes so I thought I'd mock them up just to see if everyone thinks it is worth it.

Did you make this using the top of Sky's monument and the bottom of the 20th Century one?
Oh, good "jorb" btw!

I really wanted to make it as blue as possible, but I kept myself from it.
Great work. Would love to see the logo iced over à la "Silent Hill: Shattered Memories."
EDIT 2:

Hi GUYS thanks for your compliments regarding that Intro thing I did.
OMG Sky! I just realized that you added a sample of the 20th Century Fanfare's drum-roll to the pickups of each measure in the Imperial March. That's so F-ing clever! Bravo sir, bravo!
(Sorry, the band geek in me needed to come out for a second.)
Sky_ said:
Well That is Right I wanted it to look Same but Different in the sense that the 20th Century Fox log is Marble or Stone, I wanted this to look more like Metal, as I like reflections of Objects, maybe when I complete it all, I may not look right and I may go back to Marble or something that looks like Stone
Okay, I'm with you now. If your intent was to go in a different direction with it then please, by all means, proceed. It's never a bad idea to just see where things take you.
vaderios said:
There are many altered 20th century fox logos out there. Check them for inspiration
Excellent Idea.
EDIT: Apparently variations of the logo are more difficult to track down than I expected. These are all I could find. Dunno if you'll find them helpful in any way.

Hi GUYS thanks for your compliments regarding that Intro thing I did.
Iv had another attempt at it thanks to vaderios-Angel for the links he provided.
I changed the Music to the Emperor's theme but I didn't wanna get rid of the 20th Century fox music so then I kinda remixed it, Used my old D-jaying skill but I think I got Carried away, but I also cut them Emperor's theme just using the intro and outro off that track...
THIS IS NOT FINAL VERSION as the the X Wing textures are not Complete so the rendering on that looks shit..
I still need to replace the SKY and also the city lights as they look crap
I spent most time animating the X-wing movement cos I wanted to add I slight Wobble to it.
anyway guys take a look

Just downloaded and watched.
I think that your monument is lit "too perfectly". Notice the use of shadow on the 20th Century Monument below.
Also, there's something about the *texture that doesn't seem right. It comes off to me as shiny plastic rather than shiny marble. Again, see below.
Question: What is that anomaly that appears as the X-Wing flies by? It looks like a jump cut being disguised with cross-fade.
Looking forward to your progress. Good work!
*I don't mean texture in the computer graphics sense. I'm talking about its substance; physical qualities; how it "feels."
I'm going to have to watch the rest of this later (terrible satellite internet. bleh) but I wanted to mention that, when I used to mess around with Windows Movie Maker, I would get around the lack of audio tracks by rendering a version of the movie with as many audio fx I could fit in the first time around, and then open that movie up with Movie Maker. After that, I would have an extra audio track to work with because all the audio from the first render would become consolidated into a single track. Just be sure to save different versions of your project as you progress.
EDIT:
Watched and rated
There's a lot of room for improvement here. My issue with it is that you've, figuratively speaking, just shown me EVERYTHING that happens in the movie. Nothing is left to the imagination. You've got lengthy clips from every duel in the film. It plays more like a scene from Star Wars: A Musical Journey than it does a real trailer. Tighten things up a bit and I promise it will go a long way.
If anyone is familiar with or a member of the movie review site Spill.com, I recently created a fan-edit appreciation group over there. Please, check it out and maybe even join. ; ) That is all.

Take too long to find. Recap: Ady said that he wouldn't be able to do the cameo idea, so everyone who donated for the cameo and everyone who donated for the rest of the year would get a clip from the Asteroid Field to Luke's Arrival on Dagobah, 99% finished, with basically everything changed from the last time he released Asteroid Field.
Just any amount, or is he doing something with different levels of donations, like Bronze Donors=$X, Gold Donors=$Y, etc. etc?
Enigmas said:
Is Adywan still taking donations for that teaser clip?
So, I've been gone for a while and must have missed when Adywan mentioned this. If anyone knows where Adywan first mentioned this, could you PM me a link to the post? Thanks!
EDIT: If you don't remember where it is, don't worry about hunting it down on my account. If I don't hear from anyone I'll find it on my own. Just real busy right now.

Mabey show a little of the battle with the having the Gungans meeting up with the droids with Naboo city scapes in the background.
I'd love to see that. There isn't a mock-up already out there, is there?
Hmm, I just kinda disappeared didn't I?
For some reason this time around it seemed more obvious to me that the outside of the hangar doors is just a back-lit scrim.
So I saw Star Wars in Concert last night and noticed something interesting. Early in the performance a clip was shown from Obi-Wan vs Vader in ANH, and the lightsabers had clearly been repainted. However, throughout the rest of the performance there were similar clips shown, including more Obi-Wan vs Vader, without any repainted effects. Might it be reasonable to suspect that the clips in question were from the WIP BluRays?

The fanedits.com/ot.com wiki page does not offer any downloads. You need to ask for the password at the place where you got the download links from.
Oops, my bad. Wrong url. fanedit.info is the right one.

Did you try fanedited.com?
. . . damnit.
This may have been my greatest fail ever.
Okay, everything is working now. Thanks adywan.
Hey all.
I just finished downloading this edit through the .dlc file here using JDownloader. However, I cannot get the .rar file to extract because it prompts be for a password that I do not know. I tried "fanedit.org" and "fanedit.com" which did not work. I've been searching the nets for a solution for about forty minutes now and haven't come up with anything. Nothing on the fanedit.com page for the edit, nothing here, etc.
Is there anyone who can give me a hand with this?
Thanks.
