Target Promotion - Revenge of the Sith Song Download
Time
Here's what you're supposed to do to get the download :
- go to starwars.sonyclassical.com
- click on the link that says "Target customers: to get your bonus track, click here"
- a new screen comes up with boxes to type in the 16 digit PIN that came with the CD and a SUBMIT button
- once you click the SUBMIT button a new screen comes up with a link to Free Download

It looks like the PIN will only work once since I've tried it several more times since the first post and it always brings up a new screen that the content has already been downloaded.

I was really looking forward to hearing the bonus song! Stupid marketing!!

Target Promotion - Revenge of the Sith Song Download
Time
Has anyone else had problems getting the song to actually download? When I typed in the pin and clicked on the link a screen came up that it couldn't find the page and when I tried it again a new screen came up that the content had already been downloaded.

I have yet to hear back from downloadcard.com about how to actually receive the song since apparently I can't try and download it now.

Anyone have any ideas? The song is the special radio release of "Battle of the Heroes" with dialogue and effects.

I like the Special Editions ..... minus some scenes
Time
Only doing clean up work of the films worked for the Indiana Jones trilogy DVD. Why add additional scenes that detract from the pacing of the original films? Taking out the matte lines around ships is different from adding in whole scenes that slow down the pace of the movie. I borrowed the 2004 DVDs to compare with the OT and there were plenty of effects clean up shots that improved the films (the Rancor scene for example), but in my opinion adding additional scenes or changing effects in some scenes actually made the scenes worse. I'm also in the over 30 crowd (32 actually) so I guess growing up with the films has made me more biased toward the originals.

Star Wars - The Edits and DVDr releases thread
Time
I've been a fan since the original Star Wars films and have viewed the posts on this site, but this is my first time logging in. I just wanted to say that I'm amazed by the amount of work created by fans to keep the original trilogy alive. Nice job!

Hey Rikter -
I know that we've e-mailed several times about your collection. I'll be e-mailing you today with an update. Your patience is appreciated.

RowMan -
I have the old VHS tape of the behind the scenes/special effects of Raiders of the Lost Ark and have been trying to find a way to back it up on DVD for several years now. Forgive my ignorance, but what does PM stand for?

I haven't posted on sites before this one so if there's anything that I should know about posting, please let me know. Thanks!
