team negative1 - star wars 1977 - 35mm theatrical version (Released)
Time

Thanks, once again, for this release. I downloaded it a couple weeks ago and IMMEDIATELY watched it, when all I wanted to do (at first) was a quality check.

Clearly the best available digital version of the original cut of the movie. Amazing work. Waiting for the ESB release and any future version increase.

hint: this IS available in a more public fashion, in some kickass ways.

Are people allowed to upload the release, without modification, to an open or a different closed torrent tracker - or any other public sharing means, really - if they so decide?

The documentation on MySpleen doesn’t talk about re-sharing and the documentation on the release itself encourages the users to share… So I wonder if there’s anything preventing people from re-releasing it and seeding it on different trackers.

Wait... are you Brazilian too?! And yes, this is the original dubbing made in the 80's. Restored for this release.

By the way, sorry but the correct spelling is "Herbert Richers".

PS.: If you really are Brazilian I should be typing this in Portuguese, sorry.

Yeap, I'm Brazilian too.. You really shouldn't be typing in Portuguese because this is not a Portuguese board or Portuguese section, so.... :D

About the name, yeah, I always type it wrong. On the back of my mind, I always know it's "Richers", but I always mistype it.

Great work, whoever made it, on that 80's audio dub restoration. Pretty amazing.

Again, sorry to just come in and start bothering people, but I quickly glanced over the first post and didn't find this information.

The Brazillian Dub included in the release is the original Dub made by a studio called "Herbert Richards" for TV broadcast.

There's a second Dub made for the DVD release (I don't really know what's the studio that made that dub though) that has both pros and cons when compared to the original dub, but that's not the point of this message.

The original dub made for TV is much harder to come by, so it's amazing thats the one that comes with the release. I just think it would be cool if it were stated somewhere on the first post.

And, if somebody needs the audio from the second dub, I can dig out my DVDs and rip it, if necessary. :D

Again, thanks for the amazing work.

Hey dudes!

I'm not gonna lie, but I haven't been following the project much since the last Screened.com article. I skimmed through the first and last pages of the thread, but couldn't find the information I'm looking, so I guessed I would just bother everybody and ask it. :D

Are the other two movies also getting a "remastered" version, or was that mostly something for the first movie?

Thanks again for creating these, they're the definitive versions as far as I know.
