STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time
Adywan, I watched your edit with much excitement the other day. Really enjoyed it, it's amazing what you've accomplished. Really inspiring as well.

Thought I'd mention a few of my favourite bits that I don't think have really been mentioned. First of all the attack on the Tantive by the Stormtroopers, I don't know if you did any reediting of this, or if it was just the improved blaster shots/colours/sound effects/music but that sequence seemed a lot more intense than I remembered it. Also, the Death Star attack I thought was really well done. Other people have mentioned about the new Tie introduction and I thought that looked really professional. Something that hasn't been mentioned though, was how clear the battle is now. What I mean is that in the original 77 version I normally watch, it's not always clear whose ships are whose and exactly what is going on - what the connection is between the cockpit shots and the model shots. I thought the added FX shots cleared that up for me, so that I could really follow the battle. The hologram of the battle Leia and C-3PO are watching was amazing as well. In my mind, that's always how I'd thought those shots could be improved.

All in all an incredibly impressive peice of work. It really makes me want to sit down and do my own, maybe when I've got a bit more time I will.

Also, I REALLY want to hear Luke say that Snakes on a Plane line.

Remember Adywan: A giraffe is a horse designed by a committee.

This is your edit. It's you who've put in all the hours and labour, make the film how you want it.

Opinions and constructive criticism are fine and can be really helpful. But I've been watching this thread since it began and it would be a shame if you altered your own vision in order to please other people. If you were satisfied with the hand/flipper as it was, then leave it.

I haven't had a chance to watch the film yet, but I'm downloading it from Rapidshare as we speak.
