Seriously though, do u have an official dvd site we could all go to? and did you ever post a screencap of the redone Alderaan pre-kablooey, pre-Leia's dialogue with Tarkin shot?

Were the recovered starfields (quite cool btw) you posted just test shots? cause in some of the shots they look a little 'too' recovered--like unrealistic I mean--instrusive.

What are we talking about in terms of compatibility? Are we talking my crappy old DVD player or old ps2 that won't play anything burnt? and this is an issue with the blank disc choice? not just the fact it is, in fact, a burned disc?

I just wanted to subscribe to the thread and I couldn't figure out a way to do it without replying.

God I have to get this, some of the screengrabs compare pretty damn close to the 04 dvds (sans the color 'correction' in the 04, frankly its like watching a cartoon--Jesus Christ a blue Tantive, a green Death Star, A blue second Death Star, there's a freaking rainbow in the background in Millenium Falcon when Luke's practicing with that God damned green lightsaber)

Speaking of dvd errors, ANH has an audio issue in the chapter selections of the myspleen copy (ie: the transitions between different menus), is this fixed with a dvd I could email you for, ocpmovie? or did something just not download properly with the myspleen copy and i should just retry it?

I've got my own labels I busted out for these editions, they're basically rip offs of somebody else's labels that I really liked, but I formatted them to the specifications of these DVDs.

If you make the disc labels yourself, could I send you mine?

Yeah I'd call this a pretty great restoration project, and although--being the 'pedant' I am--it really isn't the truly "original version," (ie: aforesaid Oola scene, and dialogue change) I can accept it. In fact, the only changes ocpmovie has ever left in throughout these projects have been the only changes you could approve of. Remember the "close the blast doors!" line from ANH?

Hey I wouldn't know if this is the best place to post this, but there isn't a thread for your possible maybe hypothetical classic edition of Return of the Jedi.

I'm assuming it'll be anamorphic widescreen (if--in fact--you decide to 'complete' your classic trilogy of editing achievement), so are the subtitles for Jabba the Hutt going to be burned in on the image instead of under it like 'letterbox' versions or instead of under it and all...digital...unburned looking like on some anamorphic versions?
