I prefer the new color grading for the Extended Cut. Much more nuanced than the old theatrical color grade. But that’s personal preference.

If I may express a little criticism:
The grading of the extended version is sometimes a bit heavy. e.g. in the first picture Gandalfs beard is a bit too blue. I hope this will be fixed along with part II.
