I am sorry if that question has been answered before. Is it possible to add a snow burst each time a walker has a step? I remember adywan added something similar when the laser blasters from TIE fighters were hitting the rock surface of the asteroid. The way the stop motion snow looks, it resembles more like a mud rather have a crushing force from the leg exploding snow.

Anyone seen these?

I believe they prove why adywan's care is so important and why the way he fixes things, doesn't destroy the bridges of the thematic narration with the story narration.

Take this as consideration, we never see big starships into the atmosphere of any planet in the old trilogy. This was established in the new trilogy. I like your idea anyways.

Amazing! I always had in mind the fighters were patrolling the skies, so they can spot and capture the falcon again back to vader. After I saw your edited images, I prefer your version for the chaos.

Check it again. this is the first close-up we see of the stormtroopers getting shot and it's leia doing the shooting> keep you eye on the stormtooper i've marked with the arrow.

You can plainly see he is stepping over the body of the stormtrooper that doesn't die until Chewie shoots him later.

The colors are changing between these two images. Is this deliberate or it will need fixing later?

One shot i have in mind, is when vader loses his head, in the dream sequence. I'm gessing you may replace the dummy shot, with a real life actor.

I remember ady wasn't happy with the footage, he got from episode 3, for the new bridge shot. A good place to have a shot( a rather dificult angle to work). One behind the scenes photos, showing vader with his lightsaber. Is that a hint?

What other,more difficult ones, shots did you shoot?

Great idea and executution Ronster! I really like it.

Your mockup brought me an other issue to my attention. I want to see actualy bursts of snow each time a walker takes a step in the battle of hoth to emphasize their size. The mud looking snow only making them look soft and tiny.
what do you think?

Good point. But since you fixed most of the light direction errors, for continuity reasons, why not fix that light position by flipping the shot?
