So, this might sound a bit strange (please don’t judge me xddd), but I wanted to ask if it would be possible to make a version of the Mandalore movies with the traditional “A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…” and a text crawl?
While I was watching Patterson’s Ahsoka, it hit me how awesome it would be to have it feel like a seamless part of the main saga. I’m imagining something like:
• Prequel Trilogy (my preference is Hal’s edits)
• PixelJoker95’s Kenobi
• DigModiFicaTion’s Coaxium Heist
• Rogue One
• Original Trilogy (Adywan all the way)
• The Way of Mandalore
• Patterson’s Ahsoka
• Smudger’s Lost Planet
• Neverar’s / Poppasketti’s / Hal’s Sequel Trilogy
(Except no Andor. Andor is too perfect for an edit. I’d honestly rather just watch NFBisms’ Rogue One re-cut as three Andor episodes xddd)
Hey, Acbagel! Will Book 6 be the last of your movies? I feel like the rest of Boba Fett’s story and the fight for Mandalore could be hard to compile into one two-hour film. And one plot line could take away from the other.
Btw - I hope you’re planning on editing the upcoming Mandalorian and Grogu film to fit with your storyline ^^
I know it’s one of your oldest projects, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed you might return to it someday. My usual go-to edits for the sequels are Starlight, Rekindled, and Ascendant, but after reading your pitch, I feel like this would be even better.
Of course, I am aware of the limitations on what can be done with the available material. But if you could do wonders with Mando and Boba, you’d manage to do wonders here as well xddd
I haven’t seen your betas/alphas yet (I’ve sent you a pm), but if you’re ever revisiting this project, my small wishlist would be: somehow fix Phasma’s willingness to lower the shields in Force Awakens (maybe new lines with AI? not sure how it could have worked), and characters (especially the new ones) being less rude to 3PO.
And I can wait. I’m still waiting for Adywan’s Episode 6 and PixelJoker95’s Kenobi. Maybe one day I’ll have my ultimate SW experience after all xddd

I think this is the best edit I’ve seen. I only wish there was that deleted scene of Han as a TIE fighter pilot added back. I know it’s cheese, but I love it. Tried doing it myself, but it seems I lack the skills xddd
I wish we could clone Adywan so he could work on the prequels as well. Damn, I really can’t wait for this!
