Well, I am from Germany, and my personal opinion is that Obama seems to be a better decision than McCain.

I never would try to tell someone to vote for Obama, but, maybe I may try to express my opinion.

First of all, I don't care or judge any skin colorization, so I see no problem in someone with a really good tan in the White House. the only people seeing a problem there are racists, and racism is very close to facism, which is extremely close to nationalism (nazi for short).

The "argument" that a "black president" is not a good president is just like a argument by a nazi. Why judging about such thing? Does the region were some ancients come from, really make someone better or worse? I think: no.

The Republicans tried to get Obama into combination with Osama. Because of his name. Well... this seems a very thing argument for me. Instead of focussing on political relevant things they hardly tried to make Obama look worse. Would I like to have a gouverment facing not the real problems, but trying to distract from real neccessary political things? What would the politic the next 4 years look like? "Hey we have about 25% people without work!" .. "yeah, but look at this country, called ***.. they have 30% people without work, and more poverty... so we are better."

Obama knows how to use media... he is charismatic, I would say.

But the most Important thing instead of vote for someone IF you are voting, it is, in my opinion, more important TO VOTE. This is the most important weapon for a person in a country: his voice.

by the way: I thing every kind of political system could work or fail. It is just a question of the people or person who holds the power in a system.

I can't really recommend a version. I saw just some pictures comparing the german 3 disc release with some other release.

I was on vacation the last week, so I could'nt answer.

Okay, the German 3 Disc set includes the so called Workprint and the normal uncut version. (The normal movie was cut in germany long time) but the quality of the Workprint ist really bad. Like a very old VHS Tape. The normal Version is not good either. I thing almost every other non german release should have better picture.

If you really want the Workprint on DVD there seems just to be the german release :( . If you want the normal Movie, without need of the Workprint.. then I would suggest you try US release.

If you want the workprint AND the movie in good quality.. ju have to buy the 3 Disc edition from germany and another release.

Now I am looking for a good non german release to get the movie in better quality. Maybe I give the NL single Disc a try.

Its without gimmicks, but with all three discs.

I think there is some shipping fees. But I didn't order there, yet.

I ordered the smaller set for about 40 Euro, but at a german store with non Internet buy.

The image quality is.. lets stay true: sh*t

You are better done with buying some other uncut version with better image.

The quality of the workprint is really, really bad. The images me saw look like taken from a youtube clip.

German DVD production at its worst!!!

Look in Swizz and Austria Internet Stores. In Germany it can't be sold online this easy, as far as I know. But it is extremly limited (666 pieces.. as far as I know)... there should be a smaller Version without all this gimmicks, but with all three discs...

www.dtm.at is a store with this edition.

the normal three disc edition is much cheaper.. the above shown monster box is abou 60 Euro thats about 76 $

the smaller set is about 30 Euro... (38 $)

I try to get the smaller set for myself..

PS3 compatible BluRays would be very, very nice.. cann you please keep german audio and texts please .. bvecause it wohld be nice to see the movies in German also... because not everyone I know want to watch movies in english...

Maybe you get your hands on a 2 Disc French Edition to speed it up.

First of al there is some Bonus on it, which are not in other PAL releases, second the french Companies are sometimes very lucky in quality. (Its no guarantee, but a try.)

You should never try a german release.. you have to be really lucky if a german release of such an old movie is in quite good shape...

Yes, I meant the anchor Bay version. I gt the single Disc of Hellraiser 3 for about €10 from Amazon.co.uk and I was very pleased.

That there is a open matted version in the Box set, I didn't know.

This month a german Hellraiser IV release with the raw-print version of the movie and some specials should come out, it was delayed last month. Hope it come...

Seems that the UK DVD release of Hellraiser II: Hell on earth is the unrated Version, while the US DVD is just the R-rated...

Hellraiser 3 from UK hat running time of 93 min. PAL while NTSC r-rated runs 93 min. ...

The release of the german Grindhouse is.. well.. delayed. Maybe it won't come, because the Movie "Planet Terror" got "Indiziert" (German word) that is some soft kind of banned. It means the movie is not allowed to be put in stores where minors can see the case, its not allowed to place advertisemnt for this Movie in public places, where minor could see them. It is just allowed to be sold in adult only sections. And so it could get somewhat unprofitable for the releasing company. (Hey.. its soooo extreemly dangerous that a minor could even know that this movie exists.. so the minors mind could be damaged...)

I heard that the german Grindhouse Version should not be presented in the Cinematic aspect ratio, because it will get a new transfer (or something like that)

In Germany some DVDs come in clear cases, too.

Disney releases tend to be in a beautiful blue Case. Aristocats has even a "Disney DVD" Symbol in the plastik of the case...

Over the Hedge came in an orange Case, some releases of Shrek came in a.. ogrish green Case...

Poorly that often Clear Cases are used to put some infos about other DVD releases into the Case, so there are no cool pictures, but some unrelevant DVDs info...

Regarding Classification Logo:

Since Auguts, i think, in German there will be huge rating logos on the Cover.. even bigger than the Australian.

Or maybe he got some midiclorians in his hand..

The topic of the normal three Movie Collection, witch is wideley released on DVD, but about the US Laser Disc Collection, where the three Movies were brought together in one BIG Movie with additional scenes and so on.

It would be nice if they would have anamorphic WIDESCREEN pre ANH Versions of the movies in good quality. That would the only reason to buy them.. hopeful.. IF they have anamorphic WS pre ANH Versions... that they will be released in Germany..

but.. on the other hand:

I own the first 4 DVD Box of the original Trilogy.. AND each as limited Edition.. It would be hard to buy another Edition..

Darth Vaders apprentice from Force Unleashed could be played at Soul Calibur IV.

I made Pizza dough myself, and used some Bolognese Sauce I made some other day which I put in small dough "bags".

You can also make some small Pizzas with It, different stuff on it, more like little pizza snags.

Even small dough bread which could be dip in differentdips...

Well, so the VideoCD Box just a "nice to have" :) ..I could put it next to the Laser Discs, which I cannot play, although I own them
