Bizarrely I have just dug out my copy of the Kenner showreel to copy for a friend.

Yes 12 movies was mentioned on more than one occasion way back near the start of the phenomonen. I think the first mention was in a very early edition of Bantha Tracks the Fan Club newsletter. 12 movies didn't last for too long and got cut down to 9 fairly quickly.

In all fairness I also have an interview (in print, Rolling Stone I think) where Lucas says he is only planning 6 films and that was from the seventies, so we can't blame him for not delivering 9 movies.

To come to Gary Kurtz' defense, it is unlikely him that has been allegedly passing fake props, Mr Kurtz has for some time been associated with someone who shall remain nameless but who is somewhat shady and is more likely the alleged faker and trading on Garys name. This partnership came about following Kurtz' bankruptcy.

I have just obtained a disc of your Clones Revealed and wanted to say what a great job you did. I know that prequels is a dirty word on these forums but it is great that someone has done something for them. Apart from a couple of little errors you have put something together that compliments the work of others who did Deleted Magic and Building Empire etc. I realise how much work goes into these things and very much appreciate your efforts.

At the time I bought the disc I thought I was buying it from the creator but am now not so sure, all these blasted psuedos on these forums make it hard to connect people. If I have inadvertently allowed someone to profit from your hard work I am sorry.

I would love to get hold of a copy of your other work The Sith Revealed.

The Mark Hamill biography channel programme is great, just happened to re-watch it last night. As well as Ford, Fisher and Lucas they also did one on Alec Guiness which featured SW quite a bit. The Ford one was shown only two weeks ago on the UK Biography channel.

In the US you can buy tapes of their programmes direct from them, thats how I got the Ford one a few years ago however they weren't selling the Lucas one, which is the one I don't have (damm it).

Went to both C4 and CE and C4 was definitely better. CE was great in that I met Mark Hamill, also my total childhood hero. He was great, talked about the rare photo I got him to sign ( a shot from Terry O Neills 1977 shoot) and lived up to my expectations. I agree with everything said about Anthony Daniels, great as C3PO but a total w**ker in real life. Mind you don't get me started on some of the other stars who I have seen behave as bad or worse than Daniels to the fans.

On the whole CE was great and it was good to have something in the UK for a change. Let's hope there is another.
