Wait, never mind! Thanks a bunch. How would I go about syncing this to the film itself? Is there a specific release of Evil Dead II that I need to sync it up with? Or do I have to do it manually via editing?

The mono syncs to the 25th Anniversary Blu-ray

So we have this print which looks the same as the eBay listing. Then there’s a remastered version which has the same opening music as the Archive link but with the Abu Hassan melody looped. We also have the AAP print which is different from the other two.

I’ve come to the realization that this print is probably the same as this. Would’ve though that the music would be uncut.

There’s currently a listing on eBay for a 16mm print of Popeye the Sailor Meets Ali Baba’s Forty Thieves. But it’s not just any ordinary print, it’s a original print that includes a different Paramount logo/original music for the short instead of the one featured on the DVD!

I’ve been a long time lurker of the website and then i decided one day to finally become A member so that projects involving recreation of theatrical edits get my attention. I am what you would call a purist. I prefer to watch movies they way they were released and heard. But i’m also into different versions of a movie (dubs, audio mixes, formats, ratios, bootlegs etc.)

Just wondering as to how you were able to pull off Criterion’s menu design?

Could i request a PM as well? I’d be lying if i say i wasn’t interested in this!

Any updates so far? You’re doing an amazing job BTW. It’s not often that someone would go beyond for a classic show like this. And it’s more fitting that’s it coinciding with the 50th anniversary as well.
