I’m watching your edits now and I must say you’ve uncovered something special with these slimmer versions. The story moves quicker and I find myself not missing the removed subplots as much as I thought I would. I am beginning film five now and eager to see how you tackle the “looser” final four seasons of the show.

Any update on release of film ten? Keep up the great work!

Really loving these first two edits. I’ll post a longer review when I can but the only things that I didn’t like about the Last Jedi fanedit were:

1. The music when Luke enters Crait didn’t seem to fit the seem and didn’t feel “Star Warsy” to me. I’d change it back to the original soundtrack, including during the duel with Kylo.
2. The ending with the First Order taking over didn’t seem as good quality as the other parts of the edit, and made it seem more “fan-edity” than the rest of the film, which was excellently restructured and cut back together.
   Overall amazing work. Keep it up and send me the Episode 9 workprint!
