STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

I don't think the emperor himself designed the executor and I don't think a sith wouldn't know what fear is. Besides it's Vader's flagship, and as far as we know from EU, Vader actually does design his own ships (Tie x1 advanced); and the Empire cannot permit theirselves losing Vader. However, as far as I understood this is an offtopic and we shouldn't be discussing this on this thread

The dome stuff, it was an idea that come out to me, and since I had the screenshot at hand, I posted it. Actually, the only thing it can do is give the SD's model a blue-lighted detail, so as to scape a little from gray, only a visual improvement... if you consider that an improvement...

But lets take another example:

EPIII, the Invisible Hand is falling (this happens two times). The firt time when the ship is under the command of general grievous. He orders to power the emergency booster engines. We see something weird in the engines, like a reverse engine.

Then when Anakin is piloting the ship, entering Coruscant's Atmosphere, he does something that "closes" the engines in order to stop the fall.

This "emergency mechanisms" are shown in the PT. Suppose you use them during the crash of Executor in ROTJ. They'd clarely add tension and drama to the scene. Maybe it'd be a radical change, radical enough to reject it, but it'd make a point to introduce it if it adds something, don't you think so?

I'm just saying that not all what's been introduced in the PT is useless or stupid, neither bad. Nor even for Adywan, whose "point of view is that PT should be the one who gets near the OT".

I didn't ever say that anything from the PT should be introduced just because it's on the PT. I just said that some stuff, if it fits properly and adds something to the story, could be considered. Just as it happened with the burn marks. For example; right after killing Ben, Vader goes away (when the blast door starts to close) and then when he realises taht the rebels are scaping, he turns round and comes to the hangar (fortunately the door is already closed). If I said, "hey there it'd have been cool to add the burn marks" I'd be giving my opinion, not saying "hey, add it!". It'd be just that, an opinion.

However, speaker-60 appears to want to do it him(her?)self and is just asking in the wrong place.

Woa woa woa, I'm just trying to give my opinion here, I'm not tellin anybody what to do. May I misunderstood what's this thread about.

Besides, if you take a careful look at ANH:R, when Vader kills Ben, there's an issue (the incandescent scare) which we haven't seen during the whole OT. Adywan took it from the prequels, liked it and put it there.

I'm not asking you to agree with me, neither to support me, but the spirit of a forum is to share ideas. Nothing more, nothing less

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

He's just being symbolic with that expression, he's talkin about the Senate, and federalism of the old republic. I don't think he's being absolute with that, because he himself is a remnant of the old republic, and militarism is one of the emblems of the Empire... so should we get rid of Tarkin? just jokin

Well guys, this is my first post. Regarding EPV, I think visually it's the most impressive, and the closest to the PT. However, a few changes besides the one you proposed (I think) could be done.

I know that Adywan's point of view is that PT should be the one who gets near the OT, but still, there are some things we could see, or take from PT as improvements. For example:

http://img820.imageshack.us/i/tantiveiv.jpg/

The linked image is a screenshot from ROTS. The stuf inside the circled area, is that half globe we see hanging from every vessel, in this case, it's the tantive IV. I assume it's sorta control room of the hangar, which is, in the tantive, as well as in the SDs, inmediately after (or before, it depends on how you see it) it. I mean, doing something like this

http://img695.imageshack.us/i/0001728.jpg/

We could also fix the engines of the SDs so they look little more hot an powerful, like this

http://img543.imageshack.us/i/0001767.jpg/

Yu could also change the lites of the SDs from yellow, to blue, just as the PT SDs and the Executor have.

And finally, in order to reach vissual coherency along the saga, it is always useful to introduce some PT stuff in a few scenes. I've seen that there's a Federation droid shown as garbage, inside the sandcrawler. Things like that should be repeated all along the movie when possible, like introducing an "old" AT-TE from Geonosis in the battle of Hoth, or another "old" droid in Bespin, for example.

Though in ESB it'd be just a detail, in ROTJ (sorry for this minimal offtopic) where "the whole Imperial fleet" shows up, it'd be a little bit less than a duty to introduce "old" Clone War vessels and SDs, as long as the Empire literally tries to smash the rebellion with its full full fleet,
