Exactly. It’s extending slowly while the last transport takes off. The cannon is preparing to fire. The context seems clear.

That shot is simply incredible. One of my favorite replacements in the whole movie, along with the Dagobah set.

snowspeeder…More superb work! Thank you so much for doing these, they’re much appreciated. One small quibble though, the things you keep calling A-Wings are actually Snowspeeders, but otherwise truly stellar work that really highlights the amazing transformation Ady and his team pulled off!

My favourite thing at the moment might be the moving graphics superimposed on the glass in the Hoth command center. It still feels like the same shot but with a modern touch. Great job. It’s also something that could believably have been done in 1980 via practical means.

You can’t get a sense of how it moves from the screenshot but it really gives the actress the appearance of looking at something specific on the glass. It sort of has a “locking on” animation while they are targeting the Star Destroyer with the ion cannon and then turns red when they fire.
