Do you want to see a Remake of the OT?

I wouldn’t want that. The only improvement I’d expect with a remake would be the modern special effects, but most likely, every other aspect of the movies would be done worse.

It’d be interesting to see Ewan Macgregor and Hayden Christiansen acting out the OT story, though. Also, if a remake were inevitable, I wouldn’t mind seeing Coruscant/Had Abaddon reinstated into RotJ.

Now, remaking the prequels and sequels is something I would consider more, if they got the right writers and director.

They should Remake the Prequels after the OT

Should Han have died in RotJ?
Time

I think Han instead of being Frozen he should have die in ESB being killed by Boba Fett his character would have closed in a good way but the problem is if Han died Vader redemption would be more difficult because Luke and Leia would not have forgiven that Han had died at the hands of the Empire if Han died i think we would not have seen Vader turn to the light side and he would have been still a Villain until Luke defeated him

imagine if in 10 20 or 30 years Disney makes a Remake or Reboot of the OT what changes of the story you will make in a Remake? it would be interesting if they returned to old concepts such as Luke and Leia not being siblings or Vader not being Luke father but i think that if they make a Remake they will be faithful to the original story but it would still be interesting to see the OT recounted differently and with better technology personally i would love to see a Remake

The Star Wars canon saga as only the OT?

Which OT? in the George Canon the original versions of the OT aren’t canon. Yet to me the most valid version is Star Wars, not Episode IV, the original Empire and original Jedi. The prequels the elements which aren’t discordant with the original SAGA or break canon i can view as a expanded universe material. The sequels are Disney’s replacement for the EU. But somehow to me even less canon, almost infinities.

Of course i refer to the Original theatrical versions of the OT not the Special Editions

Original Trilogy vs Kenobi: inconsistencies and stretches between | Plus in-series issues

Obi Wan face seems really surprised when he see Vader in ANH as if they had never seen each other in many years
and in my native language dub version of ANH Vader says: when i separated from you i was the student now i am the master
its clear the the original intention was that Obi Wan had not seen Vader since his betrayal to the Jedi

Things you DISLIKE about the Original Trilogy ( but not the Ewoks, Leia and Luke being siblings, Death Star 2 etc.)
Time

I dont like the Emperor is a Force user i like Force users being rare also Palpatine do so little in the OT that make him a Non Force user would affect nothing to his character in the OT yes he tortures Luke in the last minutes of the final movie of the trilogy but Palpatine was mostly a Cameo and he is more important for the Prequels and Sequels movies than the OT

I tend to think of the OT as the core story of Star Wars, and so anything that’s come out since then is supplemental to that core story. You watch the main storyline, then if you want to see more stories that build off of that foundation, you can optionally check out the PT, ST, or EU. All of those things “orbit” around the OT.

For me they are What If stories or High Budget Fan Fiction movies i loved the Prequels as a kid and i enjoyed the Sequels but i prefer the OT more

Although i appreciate some aspects of the Prequels,Sequels and the EU i think Star Wars should have ended with a single story i think it would have been better if Darth Vader Origin story and Luke future were a mystery i think the Prequels and Sequels do not have the same tone of the original Star Wars movies and sometimes they feel like a Soft Reboot the Star Wars saga should be the story of the Rebels vs the Empire the story finish the end nothing happen after or before of that

Did you think Lucas regret the way Palpatine died?
Time

I think the ending of the Emperor is very ambiguous he falling into the void of the Death Star you dont know if he truly died or teleport to another place in the Galaxy with the EU and Disney Sequel Trilogy making stories of Palpatine surviving i think George main vision was to show that Palpatine truly died in the Death Star 2 i think Vader or Luke should have defeated Palpatine in a duel a visible way that there was no doubt that he had died
