The Keep - Satellite Rip (Released)
Time

I have to say - I've NEVER seen this film look so good.

So the DVD-r has the alternate ending then? (i.e. Scott Glenn survives)

[EDIT]

Just watched it. Apparently not. I'll keep watching the sat version on my media player. It's sweet!

[EDIT]

Apparently there's a "sh*tbuster" version with these stats. I could only find edonkey links, all of which appear to be dead:

It's been awhile since I've prowled on Usenet, but I found this old reference:

Well, the real question, now, is can we accomplish all that we originally were planning for, or do we just aim for what we can do right now. There's one biggie we're debating - something neither of us is particularly suited to do right now, so we're seeing who can help us with it, and may perhaps ask for some help in this thread, if need be.

Sony Vegas Problem please help!
Time

Sadly, that may be the case.

Another alternative is to drop all the files in Super, which can quickly and easily batch process all the clips for you, even placing the new WAV files into the same directory.

You might want to go the the Sony Vegas forums, and see if there's a work-around or a way to get Vegas to recognize the audio.

What kind of camera do you have?

Rendering a Video File with Sony Vegas
Time

Even if the master DVD video you are trying to render from is 24FPS, you should still see something. Perhaps you dropped the opacity level accidentally, or you clicked off the line with that video segment. Run the cursor over it in the timeline and see if it shows up in the video preview.

You might also have forgotten to include it in the range of video that you wanted to render. Is the audio dropped as well? If there's a long stretch of nothing where the video should be and the audio is gone as well, then these segments may have somehow been clicked off.

No, you can correct sets of pictures with batch files - however, it's better to do it in something like Combustion, because there can be differences between sets of frames, or from the beginning of the set to the end, which would mean some pictures would be over/under corrected, etc.

It really depends on what you are correcting.

For those who consistently don't (and they know who they are), it is a well deserved b-slap. :)

In all fairness to those folk, it's been a long time.....but having two members literally drop off the face of the earth doesn't really help matters. That's the problem with knowing folks only through the internet. Plus Z was in the process of leaving the army and moving from one address to another, so I never got his most recent address. :(

Hey, guys. I'm still around. On vacation this month.

That's really interesting that the X0 Project page is back. I'm wondering how, since I still haven't heard from Zion, and I assumed the worst when the page finally went dark.

Anyone know of some good software that can archive all the posts in a forum? I could use it to archive all the stuff the X0 project team talked about. There was a lot of technical ideas Z and L were talking about before they dropped off the boards.

X0 isn't dead. The dream is still alive, but it is on one hell of a hiatus. Not to mention the fact that there was a missing section of ROTJ that none of us ever got from L, so that movie likely will never be completed, or at least not as an entire X0 capture.

I guess I'll talk to the higher ups here and the fourth member, and see about offloading to captures to some talented others for the clean-up. I just don't have the time to do all that stuff on my own.

Now, hopefully I can get a hold of Z again. Dude still has one of my Def. Col. LD's!

Please. You can't seem to accept the fact that there are many people in this country who do not share in your ideologies and values. Anybody who has different ideologies seem to be disregarded by your type (please, correct me if I am wrong, not trying to assume here, just calling it how I see it) as stupid unenlightened sheep who only hold these views because they are always listening to the "talking heads", or alternatively they are just ignorant uneducated hicks who don't really know any better or because they are indoctrinated in various forms of intolerance, religion being the biggest form.

I think it is pretty clear a lot of the people who voted for Obama have no idea who the hell he is or what he really stands for.

Bravo, dude! Thanks for the unintended example ::clap::

And Tiptup.....dude...... You're going to give yourself an aneurysm.

And what's up with the myriad of manufactured memories of me? They are as interesting to read as they are self-serving for you.  You're pretty good at playing the shame game.

Yes, I know "trickle-down" economics isn't the official name, but it's the name that was used to sell it to the public, and the description of the intent is apt, even if it doesn't work. I know a great deal more than I'm putting in my posts, but I'm not going to write an eff'ing essay on this stuff for a Star Wars board.

I did want to address this, though, because I thought it was very funny.

I seriously can't believe that you're such a brainless drone that you'd actually believe Democrats have done nothing dirty to help them win any recent elections or win current debates. What a skewed, upside-down world you must live in. :)

See, the problem is, I didn't say that! What I DID do was contrast your little offhand remark to an actual event.

Allow me to break it down for you:

"Yes, a few, rare, low-level Republicans"

Elizabeth Dole is not "low-level".

"do shitty things when nobody's looking."

She aired 3 state-wide TV ads that were blasted by everyone nationwide. She later publicly stated that she stood by her ads.

"But, does MeBeJedi believe that every last low-level Democrat is a perfect little Sunday school student by comparison?"

The opponent against whom she created these ads for was a Sunday School teacher.

Now, whether you honestly didn't get it, or chose not to get it for the sake of your argument, I couldn't help but find humor in the old line that "Truth can be stranger than fiction". At no time whatsoever, however, did I use this one event to draw a sweeping conclusion about Republicans or Democrats in general.

But then again, considering how high the flames are rising in this thread, what I was REALLY trying to do clearly isn't all that important to the folks in this thread of a different political belief, so subtle humor goes out the window, which means my interest in it is lost.

Furthermore, it really doesn't matter much anymore, because:

Bad news: The nation's in a shambles (Which apparently Bush had nothing to do with. I guess the only thing worse than a complicit president is an ignorant one, like when he claimed to he hadn't heard anything about $4-a-gallon gas just before gas mysteriously hit $4.) Still, whether by accident or design, the cumulative effect of his administration has led to....

Good news: Obama won. I can sleep well at night, knowing that a very intelligent and driven man will be taking the reins pretty soon. If this gives you nightmares, then that's just too bad. I'm pleased as punch.

And with that, I'm out.

LOL....no

The American system of government was based on a DISTRUST of government.......which would explain why the free press is protected from said government by the FIRST Amendment.

This distrust is also why a series of checks and balances were instituted into the government.....some of which the Bush administration has attempted to remove or outright circumvent.

But apparently, pointing out anti-constitutional actions of the president is seen as worse than the actual anti-constitution actions, themselves. Everyone close your eyes and let Bush do whatever he wants.....even if it puts the government into a recession.
