The more I think about it, there really is no excuse for Vader to not have his helmet on.  It doesn't matter how long we make the hallway or anything.  How come people can just go in and open the door without knocking or anything like that?

I would imagine that the helmet has to be uncomfortable at best, and he might want to have it off when he could.  Also, only a few, select, people would have access to that room.

He could come down in a little lift which would make him even more isolated.

I like it.   It could place the chamber anywhere you want it to be.

How does one get permission to use Vader's Personal Elevator?  How could Vader be caught unawares if his wall dings that someone is headed down to see him?  Just playing devil's advocate here (and I really like the hallway idea).

What if the lift opens to a small entryway, so it doesn't HAVE to be a private lift.  You can have the hallway with the lift doors at the end of it.

When I was a kid, I had the Special Edition Trilogy VHS box set, with the little commentary thing at the beginning of each movie, and as such, the biggest error I remember about Empire was the transparant Snowspeeder cockpits, because they showed a bunch of comparison shots of that gaffe during the commentary.

yeh, i still have those box sets. I remember thinking how great it was that the cockpits are no longer transparent. it wasn't until i started Revisited that i realised that what they said was totally and utter lies. All they did was slightly change the black level and didn't re-composite the shots at all.  I decided to re watch that clip where they showed the difference before and after because i thought that the 2004 DVD's may have mistakenly used the unfixed footage. but i couldn't believe that , even though they show a before and after comparison and say how they fixed it, that the 2 shots were exactly the same but with different black levels.

Actually, if you look at these comparisons closely, the cockpit is more transparent in the SE version than it is in the Original. You can clearly see the outline of the AT-AT through the cockpit, especially its neck and foot, strut in the SE but you can't so much in the GOUT

i really wish i could get hold of the original elements so i could re-composite them properly but that's never going to happen, sadly.

The energy beams are easier to spot than the AT-AT.

Ady, are there any plans to fix Yoda's lazy eye?

Oh, and a little off subject, but people keep calling the Clone Wars series EU, I know it's not an actual movie, but according to Lucas it is canon, and he has been very involved in the story line devolopment, etc, etc, not to mention producing the whole thing. In fact, this actually was a movie a few months back if you remember.

Ady has stated that he ONLY considers the OT and PT to be 'canon'.

Unless, of course, he decides to release Star Wars: Revisited II Turbo a few years from now.

Followed 3 months later by Super Star Wars: Revisited II Turbo: Hyper Flipper Edition! That's the one I'm waiting for. :)

Eventually followed by the online only Super Star Wars: Revisited II Turbo HD Remix *L*

well the commentary idea has been thrown out. I've just added an extra track with a bitrate that would be used for dolby 2.0 and it pushes it over the 100% capacity mark. I don't want to have to lower the quality of the extras just to have an extra audio track so there won't be one i'm afraid. Plus i have to fit the covers in the DVD-ROM folder yet too.

Ady, three words: Two Disk Set.

Are you using a router, if so try forwarding your ports. I'm still downloading my copy from a.b.starwars, and I'm almost finnished. I had to stop my download earlier today because of work or else I would be watching it right know.

Thanks for your help.....I couldn't figure out how to forward my ports on my router, so I just hooked my computer up via ethernet cable.....nothing has really changed....very, very slow.....0 download rate right now.....

Make sure that your BT client's upload setting is no more that 80% of your bandwith. If the upload setting is to high, it can't send acknowledgment packets back to the tracker.

For help forwarding you ports, check out http://portforward.com/
