Star Wars - Episode III - The Revenge of the Sith; my thoughts on it...
Time
k, I read the book, as most of you have (and if you were disapointed with the movie i suggest you read the book if you haven't already) and I was expecting a lot more from the movie, I mean AOTC stayed pretty much true to the book, but they made a lot of changes. Remember that it is easier to diss things then to make good comments about it in most cases, but I had some issues with the movie...

General Grievous's coughing... I don't remember reading anything about it in the book however it appears in the game. And he got taken care of way too quickly and easily for my liking by Obi-Wan, when he had his four lightsabers...

It was a very depressing movie... I guess it's not a bad thing seeing as it was basically what the movie was made for.

At the beginning Artoo's comical scenes... I thought "Oh Cr*p, this is gonna be just like Episode 1" (not that ep1 was bad or anything... it's just that this movie isn't exactly meant to be funny. I suppose one or two of the scenes were kinda funny.

The droids talking like humans at the beginning when they hear Obi-Wan through the com-link... maybe it's just a droid I'm unfamiliar with.

Some the acting started to really piss me off... but on the whole it was a lot better then AOTC.

Lightsaber duels on whole... disapointing at the least. From the book I was so pysched about em but they were cut too short. Also Mace Windu, his battle was really spectacular in the book but in the movie it was nothing special. May you R.I.P. Mace, and your death shouldn't have been that way.

These were some of the things I liked:

The special FX were great, and the backgrounds were spectacular, although they kinda drew you away from the characters a bit sometimes.

The scenes that kinda made the crossover from ep 1,2,and 3 into the original trilogy was good.

And "Order 66", Great, I love the way it was handled.

Also, sad enough to say (I'm not a very emotional person) I almost cried at some parts of the movie...
...and unfortunately thats it for good.

...but on the whole in my opinion, it was a great movie although at some points I did have some major gripes.

And also "officially" if I want to refer to something should I refer to it from the book or the movie, and I also liked Matt Stover's writing of the book.
