I’ve been rewatching The Walking Dead. I originally gave up on it a couple of episodes into season nine because I wasn’t happy with the direction of the show. This time I’ve decided to see it through to the end. I’m up to the last few episodes of the final season. It’s been more enjoyable than I expected and a part of me wishes I wasn’t so harsh previously. And after this there’s still the spin-offs.
At the same time, I’ve been rewatching Takeshi’s Castle, again. Laughing at the misfortunes of those Japanese contestants has become something of a routine over the years.

Okay, let me try…
Final Fantasy VIII is a better game than Final Fantasy VII, and is arguably the best in the franchise, yet it’s still treated like a bottom-tier entry because it didn’t try to be Final Fantasy VII-2. Its poor reputation largely stems from decades-long bandwagoning and the stupidest of reasons. (You “draw” magic, oh the humanity! Never mind the finely crafted story, stunning visuals and excellent soundtrack.)
