But…but…
But…but…
Sorry, I wrote 7-1, but when I posted, it turned into 7-13. Even when I try to edit it, it says 7-1. Weird.
I’m not sure if this is a thread already or not, but whatever. Here is my rankings:
I worked my way through all the Blu-Rays that I got for Christmas finally.
Alien: A+
Aliens: A+
Alien 3: B+
Alien Resurrection: C
Alien vs Predator: D
AvP Requiem: D
The Dark Knight: A+
Iron Man: A-
Looper: A-
Man of Steel: B-
The Matrix: A+
Mission Impossible 4: A-
Mission Impossible 5: A-
Predator: A
Star Trek Into Darkness: B+
Damn, I am pretty generous to these films.
Edited to remove terrible rating system
I like them more than many people do, is what I’m trying to say.
Some more movies that are considered bad that I like are Jurassic Park 3 and Terminator Salvation. I don’t think that they are great, but I don’t see how they are considered very bad. I would probably give a six out of ten to the former, and a 5.5 to the latter. I also think that Superman IV, while incredibly dated and cheesy, brings up some good ideas and good acting. I would probably give it a five, which is more than I think anyone has ever given it.
Han saw Vader block blaster bolts and rip his blaster right out of his hands without touching it. He also says “May the Force be with you” in A New Hope. Plus thirty years of unseen stuff like his friend, wife, son, and friends students all using the Force.
Are talking about Bad/Good movies, like “The Room” or “Showgirls”? Or are we just talking about shitty movies that we’re too blind to realize are garbage, like the “Godzilla” reboot or “Signs”?
The intention of this thread is to post any movies that you think are quality but the general consensus is that they are garbage. In other words, genuinely good movies in your opinion.
I’m not sure if this is already a thread or not, but if it is, just link that thread in your reply. Anyway, some movies considered “bad” that I thought were pretty good were Star Trek Into Darkness, Man of Steel, Alien 3 and Prometheus. What about you guys?
Into Darkness has 4/5 stars on IMDB, so “generally considered bad” is a bit subjective there. I liked it as well, though, and I also liked the Hobbit trilogy, which a lot of Tolkien fans whined about.
I’ve just seen many Trek fans complain about it. Trek fans rated it the worst Trek movie a while back.
Hey fellow galactians! I am Steven Hightower! Acclaimed professional film youtube reviewer. Here is my review of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. My opinion is not only clamored for, but asked for too.
Did anyone actually watch this? 'Twas beautiful…
Alien vs Predator - 4/10

There were literally four people in my school class this year (including me), who had seen any of the Star Wars films. I asked about 15 people if they knew who Darth Vader was, and 10 said they had no clue. Kids today.
TFA is the film I was looking for.
Best Star Wars movie since ESB.Sure some questionable scenes, but overall an oustanding performance.
Completely agree
Well, I just saw it here in Melbourne, Australia, and it was great. I’m not gonna post anything about the film here, but yeah, it’s great.
And afterwards, I’m thinking of watching the movies the way they are viewed to the people in the Star Wars universe. Like, watch TPM, then wait 10 years, and watch AOTC, then another 3 years, and watch ROTS, etc.
I’ll be watching them in release order, official Blu-Rays. All in a row.
Any progress on rotoscoping Dooku’s saber?
In the spirit of the season, can some of you refrain from being a prick?
But winter’s depressing…
Where I am it’s summer. The least depressing season of them all.
1: 6/10
2: -10/10
3: 2/10
Really?
How can people possible like Part 3 more than Part 2?
L8wrtr’s audio cuts are very unpolished, though HAL’s are smooth and reletively unnoticable.
Maybe I should make an Empire Strikes Back thread. People aren’t in debate about that film.
Oh no! My thread has turned into some weird debate, just as all the other ROTJ threads have before it. Will we ever have a ROTJ thread where people don’t argue?
What do you guys think of them? In my opinion:
Part 1: 10 / 10
Part 2: 9.5 / 10
Part 3: 8 / 10
