Does not seem to be anything much happening on this at the moment.
Interestingly, it’s been announced there will be a Director Edition 4K official release (starting on Paramount+) and also some discs of 1-4 including theatrical cut of TMP.
All this of course is useless for those of us wanting the SLV, but it might well make for some even better quality fan edits/restorations to come. So positive news I think
