Quickmedia Converter Audio Option Help
Time

Hi im using a program called Quickmedia Converter and I'm hoping that there may be someone on this forum who is familiar with it. What I am trying to do here is convert an mkv movie with 3 audio track options into an iPod format, I am assuming that by just doing the conversion in easy mode it will automatically convert the video with the default audio track. I would like to convert the video with the second audio track as opposed to the default for personal reasons, so of course I am going to use expert mode, but when I look at audio options, it doesnt say anything about different audio tracks, it just says channels, which of course means stereo mono or 5.1 surround, but since its an iPod Im going to use 2 channels. Now does anyone think they have a solution to my problem? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

                                                        thanks,

        LordVader

Movies that should be re-made
Time

Oh for fuck sake why cant we just leave some movies alone...... To me, sequels will always be more acceptable than just "rebooting" a franchise, it completely devalues movies these days, there could always be that idea lingering that "we can just remake it" and it's turning hollywood into a giant clusterfuck, excuse me, a bigger clusterfuck than it has to be.

Well, thanks to LordVader for trying, but I'm not connecting to him and there are too few seeds to make getting the actual DVD9 torrent worth the time (down to 1y9d estimated time remaining this morning).

So, I looked at a.b.starwars and could only find the pal version.

Any chance of it being hosted elsewhere?

Feel free to PM me if posting links is forbiden.

Thanks for the help.

Got a demonoid account and increased my peer list. Looks like it's down to about a week to torrent it!

Also, thanks again to LordVader for all the help :)

No problem I'm sorry about that, it took me about a week to get it too, happy watching...

Perhaps someone should do the reverse of the Hayden insert at put Seb Shaw's ghost into Hayden's costume.

That's actually a pretty cool idea. One of my favorites so far.

It's right up there with Anakin losing his eyebrows as a very subtle but effective way to visually tie the two actors.

Or put Hayden in Hayden's costume......just being devil's advocate. Am I correct that there will be no purist edition this time around?

The most godawful sequel?

Rob said:

The most godawful sequel is The New Testament, hands down. Once they introduced that Jesus character, the whole thing became outlandish.

LOL and the thread comes to a screeching hault........

Here's my list

X-Men 3 -

Spiderman 3 -

NEVER BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IN A SEQUEL EVER BEFORE I SAW THESE!!!! ICK

Shrek 3-sucked

Alien 3 on, including AVPs- they made no goddamn sense, and AVPR was garbage

I wont even name the new Indy

all Crow sequels - on a side note, there is now a remake in the works, which I am boycotting, they just cant leave Brandon Lee's work to rest in peace.

Matrix sequels-just lost its flair to me

and more or less Episode II, for some reason I just cant stand that movie anymore, III is hanging in the balance but I can manage, however, I can always watch I

Hey does anyone know where i can find an xvid version of Revisited? I was cleaning files from my pc and it got deleted, I was searching through torrent sites and a seeded one is hard to come by, thanks!

EDIT: I can get the DVD 5 & 9's, are those better quality than the xvid?

yes, get the DVD-9 as this is the best quality available and the finished version.

1.0 is avaible for download, but not the newer better 2.0 he is working on now. Besides TFU has already 1 release by Daveytod for the Wii version, with another by someone else coming later.

If anything I think that the Clone Wars game or any of the Kyle Katarn games should be tackled :).

Clone Wars game? are you talking about that hideous one coming out for the 360?

Tell me, how would you feel about tackling a Force Unleashed movie after this? That is my favorite story by far, but I do love Bounty Hunter and the movie is available for download correct?

EDIT: lol so sorry the Force Unleashed was already mentioned. Got excited, my bad.

Dragonball Z:Reanimated

Gaffer Tape said:Well, I wouldn't go that far. I mean, in the sense that it might have been interesting to see the whole thing remade from the ground-up... well, yeah, that would have made more sense than what they did. But as far as the animation style, I much prefer the way the characters looked at that era of Toriyama's style than the angular, blocky looks they have in the newer animation.

Oh of course there's no arguing with that, I love the current animation and would never change it. I was just saying that in the sense of them trying to establish a new young fanbase the animation just isnt what kids these days are used to. Really this discussion will never get past the "why" question anyway lol. They could have just used the current uncut remastered footage and aired that in both Japan and USA.

Dragonball Z:Reanimated

I too wonder at the purpose of this, if they wanted to renew Dragonball Z for a new generation, they should have literally reanimated it in the style of the opening and end credits. I don't think the 20 year old animation holds up to todays standards of cartoon, this basically is for already established fans. Anyone have the end credits song stuck in their head? I love it, especially when translated to english its just so cool!

So if its available on DVD why does everyone hate the GOUT?

Because it's a lazy, half-arsed recycle of old laserdisc masters, when it should have been a new and fully restored transfer (as sharp and detailed as the 2004 DVDs).

Do a search for 'GOUT' on here - you'll find plenty more details about that set's technical shortcomings (and some folks' very creative ways of overcoming them).

Anyway, that's not really what this particular thread is about - here we're very deliberately looking for low-tech! :-)

Ah I see, a year and a half on here and I just learned that, well damn what's the big deal with just restoring it and slapping it in with the Special Editions, Lucas can still favor the SEs but atleast we have the original.

I was in my town library in the video section and found a 1995 VHS version of ANH, can I get an opinion if its messed with or not? I didn't get it but I was curious, if it's the original verion I may try to buy it off them.

That would be from the 'faces' set, if it is from '95, so yes it's the original version. Anything pre-1997 is the 'original' (pre-special edition) version.

This version is also available on the DVD 'bonus disc' (aka the "GOUT") - so there'd be no reason for you to try & buy an old VHS copy from a library.

So if its available on DVD why does everyone hate the GOUT?
