How to view a .mov and multiple .aiff files
Time

Hey everyone,

I’ve been looking into fan edits lately and have been blown away by Hal 9000’s Fan Edits of the Prequel and Sequel trilogies of Star Wars films. The work that has gone into them by all those involved is absolutely insane and the final products blow my mind.

Having enjoyed the large 1080p files found on google drive, I was hoping to enjoy them in a lossless format, however I’m a bit confused with what to do with the .mov file and all the .aiff files. For example, the TROS lossless folder contains the following files:

TROS Ascendant V2 (No KoR lines) lossless audio export-01.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 (No KoR lines) lossless audio export-02.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 (No KoR lines) lossless audio export-03.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 (No KoR lines) lossless audio export-04.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 (No KoR lines) lossless audio export-05.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 (No KoR lines) lossless audio export-06.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 lossless audio export-01.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 lossless audio export-02.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 lossless audio export-03.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 lossless audio export-04.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 lossless audio export-05.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 lossless audio export-06.aiff
TROS Ascendant V2 ProRes Video Output (LUTs Applied).mov
TROS Ascendant V2 ProRes Video Output (No LUTs Applied).mov

I would like to:

  1. Initially view them from a USB plugged into my TV
  2. Later, burn them to disc when I’m set up for that sort of thing

I’m nowhere near as savvy as fan editors at this sort of stuff, but I’m not a total novice either and have had a pretty decent attempt to figure it out on my own and look at other forum posts with no luck.

Any advice on how to do both tasks would be greatly appreciated.
