I think everybody's over-reacting here. When someone new comes into the world of fan-editing, they should be helped out, not shot down. Anyways, most of the edits you're looking for can be found over on fanedit.org. Good luck!

Just finished yet another edit of TPM and instead of making my own menu, I ripped one of the actual DVD menus from the official disk using DVDShrink. The only issue is that the links are removed, leaving the wording {playmovie, scene selection, etc.} on the video. I want to get rid of them, can I?

My thoughts at the moment are to make the new links right over the old ones, using the exact same font and size.

This doesn't make any sence, when I try to export a project with Womble's Eport device, it says that they're may not be enough space on the drive, but the drive is empty! I have 53.6 GB free. Anyone have any ideas?

everytime I auhtor a project out of Womble Mpeg Video Wizard DVD, it splits up the video files, which is normal because they are big files. They all play together when put on disc, but everytime a new section plays a get a really ugly skip in the movie. What's up with this? Anyone have this problem?

I'm doing an edit with all the Friday The 13th movies, and they are all 1.85:1 except for Part 3 and Freddy VS. Jason. For all the other films, how can I convert them from 1.85:1 to 1.35:1 like all the Star Wars movies, etc....

I am trying to download AdigitalMan's edit of ANH but once I open a file to be extracted in WinRAR and attempt to extract it, it keeps on telling me that I need to have the following Volume to continue extraction. What are tehy talking about? I have no clue, does anybody around here?

I just finished my edit of ANH and would love to fix the sabers, but I don't have any programs capable of doing this. I really don't feel likw spending money, so is there a free program that will do this for m2v files, or could someone do it for me? Once completed, I willprobably want to do ESB and ROTJ as well, so any help would be apprieciated.

Okay, i was looking at H20 region 2 and apparantly it is PAL, will this work here in Canada? Does it matter once I run it through DVD Decrypter? Will it even operate in my laptop?

Okay, I used the HC encoder and the video turned out perfect, but when I put it into womble, the audio goes out of synch with the new video. It starts out fine, but quickly transitions throughout the film.

Even if I figured out how to get the whole movie through virtualdubmod, I don't have TMPGEnc, so I guess his puts an end to this project, right? Apparently, some burnout decided that th H20 Region 1 DVD is better suited as 4x3, while R4 gets 16x9 treatment!

Once I import the video from DVD Decrypter the extension says that it is 4x3. Does this mean I have to change it? I attempted to follow A DigitalMan's guide, but once I get to VirtualDubMod, it only does 2 minutes of the movie. It says that it can only do so much on a FAT32 drive. Am I screwed?

I'm beginning to edit Halloween H20 but when I import the video into Womble, I'm getting black bars on both sides of the picture. If I click on the display options, it tells me that it is 4x3. But on the box it says it's ratio is 2.35:1 enhanced for 16x9 televisions. What? How do I get it to 16x9 with free ware? I can't buy any programs, and I'm at a total loss!

I'm doing an edit of ROTS right now, and I was wondering if I can download some Battle Droid voices that are similar to that of the first two Prequels. Possibly from the Battlefront games or anything. I don't care what they are saying, as long as it sounds consistent.

Well, after 3 years of learning, buying software, encountering editing problems, and so much more, I have finally finished my first fan edit! I must say, it is one of the best feelings in the world. Anyways, I just wanted to thank everybody in the Requests/How To's board for helping me out throughout this roller coaster ride!

I finished my TPM edit using Womble DVD and I created a DVD project with menus and chapters. I exported the project to the D drive and attempted to put it on disc using NTI CD & DVD maker. I am using DVD+R DL discs. They are made by Verbatim and are 8.5 GB. I ran the DVD through Power DVd and it worked, though it didn't open right away {I had to open the folder file and play the files seperatly}. The DVD will not play in my DVD player, which is top of the line. Any ideas what's wrong?

Is there a free program out there that I can use to make video black and white? Even if it is a free trial, as long as there is nothing on the screen {Such as watermarks}. I don't need it for very long, so it doesn't matter, I am not buying a program just for that, so any help would be appreciated!

i checked and it said the file system is FAT32. Does this mean I can't do it? Is there any way to change it to NTFS? This really sucks, anyways thanks for the helps guys!

It makes no sense though. When i first open DVD Decrypter, is there something I should change when selecting File Mode, I have allot of room, but it just won't go. I'll check it out when I get home. Anyone else? PS. I'm working ooff am Accer Laptop. I have decrypted before and it worked, but I was using A Digital Man's guide for IFO mode. File Mode seems to not be working for me.
