My concern is that it won't be nearly as equal to Harmy's painstaking body of work. When I first watched the sources video that Harmy released, I couldn't believe how off the colors and shadows were of the Blu-ray set. And to see the comparison shots of the new ESB 2.0 really impressed me even further. Hopefully now that Disney holds the reins, they can spare no expense to enlist a brilliant team to research and develop the trilogy as Harmy has done. In fact, I would be even more thrilled if Harmy was hired by Disney for this project.
Hello all. I am new to this forum having heard about it from the Yahoo Blade Runner Soundtrack group. I began reading this thread from the first post through its entirety and I am both thrilled and anxious to be able to hear this complete collection. I guess you can label me as one of those "fanboys" who tried to enhance a track or two such as the extended End Titles. However, even after my attempts to clear-up and reproduce those tracks, I was not pleased with the end results. By the sound of your painstaking dedication, focuspuller, I have no doubt that your vision will be the one that is measured by all others. I would be willing to wait as long as it takes to enjoy this effort. I would be wiling to bypass, as I am sure others would be too, an unfinished workprint so that the final work can be expedited.
