Anyone seen a digital version of this? Save me the trouble of ironing out the wrinkles...

How'd he go from "9-12 movies" to "there's no story to tell after 6" to "I was gonna make more but fans don't want it"?
6 is more than enough, but just sayin...
I don't think Palpy having a big scary bodyguard is out of the question.
Wonder if anyone ever confronted Luke, being from Tatooine and all.
Stranger: Hey are you related to Anakin Skywalker? Podracing kid, used to say "yipee" a lot?
Luke: LOLWUT. No. What a loser.
I'm pretty sure it was actually recorded for Phantom and THAT was reused in the next two movies. There's a version with a clean ending available in some pre-AOTC video games, like Galactic Battlegrounds.
EDIT: I mean the main theme.
I want to say the source people are thinking of is Film Score Monthly, and that his exact words were "artistically betrayed." You might have to ask someone from JWFan, though.
Maybe if you asked me like 10 years ago. These days it's more like this:
1. The Big Lebowski
2. Blazing Saddles
3. Dr. Strangelove
4. Harvey
5. Shaun of the Dead
Yeah, no biggie. I figure if the quality jump isn't too bad, I could cut between them. I noticed on one DVD they have the remastered "Edward, Trevor & the Really Useful Party" from S3. The Henry goof from "Coal" I planned to fix, as well as the missing stop-motion from "Trouble in the Shed." I've read that some the UK/Aus on-demand have the older episodes in HD and/or widescreen, but I've yet to see any real evidence (and I imagine there'd be tons of matting problems, like the US Series 1 set).
Most of Carlin's Series 1 is on DVD, but I've found a few varying-quality rips from Shining Time Station. I have everything of Ringo's ripped from VHS. There's a few more of Series 2 from STS, but mostly deteriorated. Though the actual complete audio from "Percy Takes the Plunge" is on a read-along CD.

As a recap, the actual 'birth of Vader' scene starts at 4 mins. 01 secs. into this clip - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPTr6nfQ7RI
...but things would have come across a little differently if the end of the scene had been done something along these lines instead! - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GvpT_7BMAc
Not bad, but I heard the description of Vader's thought process is elaborated pretty well in the novel (something like he's trying to reach out and kill Palps, but realizes he's the only person he has left).
This is me starting from the ground up and doing some tests.
I tried taking some of the yellow out of Series 5, as well as upping the brightness and increasing the "Chroma U" contrast so the reds don't look (as) orange. The source video is the PAL Series 5 DVD. I'm still not sure if the differences between computer and TV coloring are very different in terms of LCD displays, so I could use an answer on that to avoid crushing/bleeding the detail with contrast edits.
I'm trying to go easier on the noise reduction this time. I got a little too excited on my first go, but it led to some unsightly artifacts. I am experimenting with applying the "Soften" filter at 1080p and scaling it back down to 720p, hoping to take away only the harshest of the grain, but I'm still waiting on the export to see it in action.
EDIT: Another sample, this time from Series 2. Very noisy, constantly changing color (usually between pink and yellow).
Don't remember when, but way back when all we had was the ROTS "NO," someone pointed out that there was a more convincing Vader yell in a battery commercial.
It looks like someone took a Flash animation and set it over the film.
This all reminds me of Harold Camping for some strange reason. G-:
And I'm the Czar of All the Russias.
Celestia? You mean...
Wha--? Was that Azula from Avatar at the beginning?
Mm, I'm doubtful a lot of the fandubs would sync up, since a lot recut the episodes as well. I've mulled over the possibility of including Michael Angelis' "Railway Stories", but it presents a similar problem, not to mention needing to add SFX.
One thing puzzling me is that there are "restored" versions of the first 3 or 4 series, but they only appear intermittently on compilation DVDs (except for the first, which is included on the only full series box released here in the US). These show slightly crisper images and often less screwy colors, but they're harder to track down. They also occasionally use alternate takes, some with odd goofs, which could mean more editing...
I have a soft spot for Shadows of the Empire on N64. Not amazing, but it takes me back.
Rogue Leader is one of the best, and it still looks pretty good almost a decade later. Then again, there's that damn frigate captain lady...
The Battlefront games are okay, mostly for parties, though. Same for Galactic Battlegrounds.
The Jedi Knight games were okay, and I had fun with KOTOR for a while.

I found out the antagonist was going to be named Darth Scabrous.
Are you going to Scabrous fair?
Found an animatic on Youtube for the new ending of Jedi. Thankfully Hayden's gone, but let's see if you can still spot a new face in the lineup:
Nice. Love the spine art and the cover edit (I think?) for Jedi.
Hey Harmy, the picture looks amazing. You're doing nerds everywhere a great service.
My one worry is about the PAL audio speed-up. Does that come out in the final version, and if so, how easy is it for someone of my technical ineptitude to fiddle with it?
Boy, I really hope somebody gets fired for this blunder!
Site's actually up now.
"Share to Reveal"? Wakefield Track and Field?! To reveal more than 20 seconds of previously-released images in a low-res video?!
So...is the lack of surprise supposed to be itself surprising? Oh, those wily postmodern marketing gurus!
